Bit of a pity 'bout the lyrics, but LaBrie's voice is better than it often is, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT everything else. The ending, the drums, the opener, the face-smashing first heavy riff and how it builds under the opener, the FUCKING TEMPO CHANGE AT 5:30-ish, and just about everything else.

I've listened to most of their albums (except covers, ToT and FIF). This song just caught me by surprise because the instruments don't actually stop, the song cuts them off.

Amazing song, by the way. If LaBrie didn't sing so many ear-piercing flat notes I could easily get everyone I know into this band.

The Beatles' song repeats the coda over and over until the abrupt ending. Here, they keep altering the main form adding instruments, so the outro doesn't get repetitive, so the sudden ending is deus-ex-machinaly awkward

Bands like Exodus and Testament are Thrash metal, because a label as general as "heavy metal" doesn't suit their sound well enough. Black Sabbath is heavy metal, and they sound NOTHING like Thrash. A band like Deicide is considered Death metal because of its strong occult and sacrilegious undertones. And Deicide sounds NOTHING like either Testament or Black Sabbath
