I'm curious. When you begin a drawing for yourself (not a tutorial), how much measuring, marking and ruling do you actually use before you begin drawing your figure? And thank you so very much for sharing your expertise and responding to questions!
is this industry going good right now cause i was thinking about getting into it and making a career out of it. i like fashion and think i would enjoy it. please comment back
@animenut23 I cannot give you an answer, cause as you know I'm not in the fashion biz. I suppose, it depends on the country or city you're going to work in and the sphere of your job. You cannot expect to become the next Valentino, but you can find a more defined niche for your career (smaller niches have less competition), so you have a greater chance of being successful.
@littlemizShArMain3 The space between the lines depends on the size of the paper you're using. That's why I actually work with head units and don´t use inches neither centimeters units in my tutorials. If you want to use your paper to full capacity, I recommend to measure the height and width of the sheet and divide it in 9 to 11 equal units leaving 1.2 to 2 inches margins on top and at the bottom of the sheet.
ok next time can u plz talk during it instead of puttin up the writin cos lk im a slow reader nd im sure im not the only one , but each time it goes away i hav ta rewind nd pause it for every paragraph u had there
This is a really good tool to use thanx alot i like your work. Is there a way to download your tutorials to my computer my internet has a bad connection.
@kevalenoxx If you´re asking me if I use inches or centimeters in my tutorials, I actually work with head units and don´t use inches neither centimeters. As an European in my daily life I´m using centimeters, but for my tutorials if necessary (for example for paper sizes) I try to give you both units.
@elidada84 ohh okay. I was kinda confuesed the whole time because I don't know what 1/3 head is and I thought it was some sort of slang for inches/centi.
u r so talented there is no doubt about that. seeing all ur drawings i feel like i dnt even ave what it takes. wow the fashion world is so deep and i wish i had a chance............... nice work though!
