Yeah, the manga author died but she told her husband the details for the manga's ending. I am pretty sure though that the real ending of the manga won't be shown in The Last Kiss because the husband said it's exclusive for the anime only.

well th thing is that yea in the naime it ends diferently but u know it was originaly created from the manga and well the manga was never ended since the writher died i think it was some accident or somthing like thta newyas it started with a kis and they kiss again its a complite exat copi of the manga ( tthat was the whole point) so they ended it exactly where the manga ended ... but i do hope they make a ending if is true about the e season im dieing to see it!!

Don't really know when. As I have heard at first, the director or maker or the one who writes TKA died. That's why the drama was unfinished. But it's confirmed that the wife is continuing her husband's work and as of now, they are currently taping the 3rd and final installment of ISWAK, The Last Kiss.
