  • Basic Income World Day : Mai 9

  • i get 1000$ for free every month...from government...

as any other unemployed german citizen?!

tell this the shitty motherfuc**** in USA :))

  • Robotics are replacing more and more workers. So we will need a new form of income wich is quaranted to everybodie also to those who dont find any work anymore. So its just a gurantee for freedom, cause in our capitalist world everything costs something. Without income you are not able to live a free live.

  • Like JFK said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.” SCOTUS is supposed to make sure we all have equal protection of democratic rights. These SCOTUS benches are like before civil war ignoring slavery, and even after ignoring Jim Crow. It is not just Southern States violating. It is Feds violating rights of 98% of Americans by giving PACs to the Top 1% who only have the cash to buy Pols in both parties. It is their fault things are coming to this.

  • Do special needs people get more money?

  • I can see and understand the objections to this, but I personally agree this is definitely in line with the central aims of Anonymous, not to mention that no one and everyone speaks for Anonymous.

I feel that speaking toward 'freedom' while paying no attention to the basic needs humanity is playing into the hands of those who enshrine "Economic Liberty" as a holy ideal, and in turn support pure Plutocracy.

  • what if instead money as an income how about having an credit based concept of an allocated amount of carbon a month as long as we give produce to a certain amount of carbon because carbon is the universes most account and adaptive currency. Why try to keep a currency that can have allocated debt debt is something granted by man the universe does not have debt only progression. We create our own resistance - WHY? Think out side the box.

  • great to see anonymous guys joining this idea !!

  • Lolwut....?

  • to the powerful?

who is more powerful than anonymous? :D

anyway: expecting the state to provide a basic income is like expecting that your own poop will be delicious marshmallows…

the state only has guns, no brains.

if we want basic income we must do it ourselves.

(that also liberates us of the national barrier, of couse)

  • Similar proposals for "capital grants provided at the age of majority" date to Thomas Paine's Agrarian Justice of 1795, there paired with asset-based egalitarianism.

  • In everyday usage, the phrase basic income is often inaccurately conflated with means tested guaranteed minimum income alternatives such as a negative income tax. A basic income of any amount less than the social minimum is referred to as a partial basic income.

  • Except for citizenship, a basic income is entirely unconditional. Furthermore, there is no means test; the richest as well as the poorest citizens would receive it. The U.S. Basic Income Network[3] emphasizes this absence of means testing in its precise definition, "The Basic Income Guarantee is an unconditional, government-insured guarantee that all citizens will have enough income to meet their basic needs."

  • A basic income guarantee (or basic income) is a proposed system[1] of social security, that periodically provides each citizen with a sum of money. In contrast to income redistribution between nations themselves, the phrase basic income defines payments to individuals rather than households[2], groups, or nations, in order to provide for individual basic human needs.

  • In future more and more work will be done by intelligent machines and robots so the chance to get income by work will decline. So there is a need to develop new forms of income, Basic Income. This is also important for economy to create stable consumption of goods and services.

Just read the Books of Andre Gorz, they explain the foundations of this concept very good. It is NOT socialism as you still can become rich or earn more money by working.

  • You don't understand what Anonymous stands for, if you did, you'd know Anonymous douse not stand for this. We work to represent free speech, and we fight censorship.

Find another Banner for this to fight for, not Anonymous.

  • Oh and for you glenn beck hucking Foxtarded teahadists.

there is ONE place in teh world where this godawfull socialism already exists for years, People get a basic income from the state there!

Evil communists, I'd bomb them If I were you.

Place is called Alaska, it was some woman named Palin who increased this socialist basic income.

  • The folks are right bgenymous.

You do activism under the anonymous banner if you wish to fight for freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of information and information flows and related subjects.

Worker rights do not fall under this.

Btw, if you ever worked in germany then you can claim unemployment aid and don't NEED a basic income guarantee (you allready are guaranteed that you shall have enough food, healthcare and a roof over your head)

I say that as a very left dutch liberal.

  • @HARonymous its not me. its the anonymous-community. basic income is not workers right!! its human-rights. you have to read thomas paine.

  • @bgenymous I'm anonymous community too mate and that is not what I am behind, so it is you.

Look I understand your point of view, but let's get real here. This would need a resource based economy instead of trade based, worldwide.

First we need to spread some freedom of speech and people around so that there actually is a platform to build advanced social concepts on.

    Can't build on quicksand.

Basic human rights are food, roof, safety. you could see that as income.

    That's covered in Germany.

  • Anonymous is not your private army!

  • @antononszers Anyone who wants to can be Anonymous and work toward a set of goals...We have this agenda that we all agree on and we all coordinate and act, but all act independently toward it, without any want for recognition. We just want to get something that we feel is important done...

—a member of Anonymous, as quoted by Chris Landers in the Baltimore City Paper, April 2, 2008.

  • I don't think it is fair for someone to "speak" for Anonymous like that. What if I posted an Anon Video supporting George Bush??? Would that be right?

  • HEY ASSHOLE!.............YOU'RE NOT ANONYMOUS....YOU'RE JUST A LAZY SOB THAT WANTS A FREE RIDE TO GO SMOKE YOUR DOPE....

  • This has absolutely NOTHING to do with what Anonymous stands for.

  • OMG! This is socialism! A utopia for the lazy! Why work? Are you nuts! Atlas will shrug! We need the government to get out of the way of the people NOT regulatory agencies taking away the money that I EARN THROUGH HARD WORK! Why should I work anymore. This is sick!

  • @Ann0Neimus please read more about the idea of basic income!!! for example at wikipedia!!

  • @Ann0Neimus

Yes it is socialism, however you are wrong in thinking that socialism is inherently evil

You think it is evil because in teh past it has led to communism in some states.

I remind you that pure capitalism has in the past led to fascism, indentured slaves and feudalism.

What you need Ann, is a mix of both capitalism and socialism.

It works extremely wel in europe. We have healthcare that is cheaper and better then US healthcare because of it and very few homeless.

    Pay less tax too.

  • @Ann0Neimus

You don't seem to be lazy yourself, so why assume that everyone else is lazy?

Why work?Because work is part of life . But with the basic income you're for the first time in history truly free to choose your work. If everyone does the work he can do best, then everyone benefits. If people are forced into work, no mattter how pointless, just because they need money, then the quality of their work will be bad.

Economy profits from the basic income, because labour will become cheaper.

  • @Ann0Neimus I cannot help but wonder if you are being sarcastic/ironic considering your mention of "Atlas will shrug!", and how utterly silly that sounds.

  • Annoying music makes it hard to understand the speech.

  • @RachelBartlett thanks for feedback

  • @METRONART1 :-)
