  • @limeindacoconut475 of course it was hysteria!

  • Def Leppard are an amazing band. They also went through hard times, Rick losing his arm yet he still plays great with one arm and Steve Clark's passing yet they're still rocking and rolling. Respect right there.

  • I miss the old Def Leppard. The new is OK. But the older stuff ROCKS!!!

  • As the '90s began, mainstream hard rock shifted away from Leppard's signature pop-metal and toward edgier, louder bands, yet the group maintained a sizable audience into the late '90s and were one of only a handful of '80s metal groups to survive the decade more or less intact.

  • Def Leppard, in many ways, was the definitive hard rock band of the '80s.

  • They Are British They are the Best ! Brian May said ....

  • Yes he has 2 arms.. Foolin' came out in 1983.. he lost his arm in the accident in 1984... For a drummer to go through that & make the comeback that he did with only one arm is a true sign of talent...

  • @jfryan I mean hey you there is a movie about the car accident and the band

  • amo a def leppard!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • the drummer lost his arm in a car accident On 31 December 1984, drummer Rick Allen lost his left arm in a car crash on the A57 in the hills outside the band's home city Sheffield, when his Corvette swerved off the road on a sharp bend and went through a drystone wall. Despite the severity of the accident, Allen was committed to continuing his role as Def Leppard's drummer, and realized that he could use his legs to do some of the drumming work previously done with his arms.[

  • @NicktoonsRock1993

i tried to put the link here but for some reason i couldnt =S

  • @616o616 Gotcha! Thanks!

  • @616o616 try Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V

  • @NicktoonsRock1993 He didnt lose it he was born without.

  • @OnanTheMan Bull He lost his arm in an car accident . Seat belt cut it off.

  • @OnanTheMan man did you just watch this video! look a little closer....the drummer has two arms.....now go watch a newer video, you will see he only has one arm, same drummer so how was he born like it? he lost it in a car accident.what an awesome feat to learn to play with one arm & his feet~!

  • @OnanTheMan YOU LIE!!!! He's CLEARLY seen with BOTH ARMS in the music video!!!! Is that even possible to be born with only 1 arm instead of 2!?!?!?!? >:O

  • @OnanTheMan he lost it in an car accident

  • @OnanTheMan Rick Allen aka drummer of Def Leppard was in a street racing accident and lost control of his car going around corner, he wrecked into a field and was thrown out window, because seatbelt wasn't properly fastned it severed his left arm, dr's initially put it back on but because of infection he had to have it amputated for good.

  • is anybody out there!!!

  • @bigbuffbaldguy I think it IS metal. It's a certain kind that died out in around 1985, but it's still amazing.

  • The ones that disliked are the ones that got fooled.

  • 110 people are little freak freaks!

  • I love this song also,I just loved them.The 80's Rocked Baby..

  • Im living in the wrong generation.

  • I wish I could go back to the 80s and see these guys live.

  • No you don't! Milli Vanilly, Vanilli Ice,Cindi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett(I love rock and roll), Kiss doing disco and xanadu, Boy George in Cultur Club, George Michael in Wham releasing Wham Rap!, Stray Cats, Stryper, Twisted Sister( a one hit wander that saw Dee Snyder stringing this out as long as he can without any new material),Survivor, any number of Led Zepelin clone bands, she blinded me with Science-God save us all from ever needing to a here a song like that again!

  • @VampiressVixen These guys are still touring. You can still see them.

  • goddamn why did music rock so much harder back then, and why does it suck now...

  • @defenderxvi Inquiring minds want to know!!!

  • I saw them twice and wanting to see them YET AGAIN!! They never cease to amaze me. I could keep listening to them until I die and I WILL listen!!

  • Back when Rick Allen had both his arms, but he can still play the drums

  • I remember seeing this on a "new" TV show called "Friday Night Videos" Ahh, the 80's!

  • On and on we rode the storm

The flame has died, the fire has gone....does anybody wonder? Does anybody care? No, they're too busy texting.

  • F-F-F-FOOOLLLIIINNN

  • wow

  • Poor Joe burned his wrists while he was chained up to that thing.

  • umm. the outfits and behavior are both a lil gay. great song/bassline

  • @dougerber It's really funny now to look back and realize that the eighties looked like a decade where everyone was gay and nobody admitted it or even seemed to notice. Not that there's anything wrong with that, you know, but it never occured to me at the time. If a band looked this way today, everybody would just assume they were gay without even asking.

  • @xerxestireirondada I distinctly remember at some point in my teens (around 14 I think) wearing a pair of hyper tight stretch denim jeans, a midriff bearing half t-shirt, and a pair of black high-heeled suede cowboy boots to a show. Yikes! The scary thing is, during that period that's the look that the metal girls were going for. The androgynous look was what got the chicks back then. At least that was true of the NYC/Long Island metal scene.

  • this song is amazing Def leppard will always be my fav band

  • I will say what I think ..

In my opinion, Def Leppard, has better music´s (potograph, etc) .. but that's because it is impossible to do better! :)

    Loved It!

  • Ok, I'll keep it going....Ozzy, Kix, White Lion, Sting, Winger, Warrant, Heart, Dokken, Slaughter, Tesla, LA Guns, Men at Work, Leah Ford, just to name it few....keep it going!

  • @Grkangle0505 heh not to correct you but Lita Ford :) only specify this cuz damn i wanted that chic back in the day lol but yeah damn we could list like a million great bands from then. ok maybe only 500 thousand lol

  • skeletor@ 3:35 who remembers he man?

  • Imagining the things I would do if I could have Joe Eliot chained down for a few hours.
