please don't take it as an offense... i think that Jeff didn't play all of the three triplets on the hi-hat, only the first and the third. correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm 90% sure i'm right.
i saw some videos and it is all about the accents on the hi-hat. in the audio of the original recording you can hear only the accents on the hi-hat. that's why i thought he doesn't hit every note of the triplet on the hi-hat.
