how long do you let your mla module run in the kinda let it get used to things way before you play your system, i mean is it immidiately or do you let it charge and get used to it for like 10 minutes because i ordered one with for a dodge with the extra switch to get it to 15.3 volts and the wall charger and i was just wondering how long you let it run once you've hooked it up to get used to things so you dont like shock the system trying to play everything when it hasnt gotten used to it yet ?

it's not a knock, it's just piston slap, gm had that problem with that particular block, my buddy's 6.0 liter (same block as Steve's 5.3 liter) has the same issue.

I do hear a SLOW nock. But its to slow I would think to be a piston nock. Way to slow. I had this on a gmc and it was a lifter. Sounds like its something with the valve train by how slow it is. Mabey.

i had a car that did that and it was a valve that made the nosie and it went away as the engine heated up and valves don't *knock* as you put it and i know somebody who got this motor in his S-10 so as i said before i dont need to own a tahoe to know what basic engine noises sound like

AGM batteries are suppose to be charged at around 2.3 volts per cell total of 6 cells within each battery you may come across. As far as charging above recommended voltage. It really isn't a concern when you have 2 or more batteries running in a parallel charging configuration. Because with each battery you are doubling the amount of cells you have. In this case I think steve has 7 batteries. So there's no harm done.

were you talking about power or signal cables (speaker wire)? just wondering cuz power wire is a for sure, you want it to be as short as possible for sure... for speaker wire, it is best not to have 80 feet of extra wire running lol, however u can have enough for slack if u wanna move your sub box around and what not

I got the pro series in my Sequoia. Hadn't had any problems with it. But I'm only running 10,000 watts on 4 18's and 1 300 amp alt. I have 5 Kinetic 2400's and 1 under the hood. Its the ideal piece for the serious competitor. My score is only 158.6 on the TL. The boys in Vegas know their S!@#.
