Watching this video made me TRULY realize what Jesus went thru for US, for ME. I am forever grateful for his goodness, kindness and mercy. He's so AWESOME; I love him and NOTHING or NOBODY will take him away from me.
The God that loves revealed Himself to humanity in a most nondescript manner. Shedding His robe of majesty for one of humility, His angelic realm for lowly shepherds and His throne for a manger, He dwelt with us to show us we were created to worship Him and to enjoy Him forever. But He asks that we first forsake ourselves and follow Him the rest of our lives. This divine romance then becomes the center of our lives and His Presence in us grows to embraces our total being.

If I remember my history correctly, Paul was speaking more about sexual sin- about keeping yourself pure. I know a girl who has a hebrew tatoo on her foot, and when people ask her about it, it gives her an opportunity to witness to them about her faith and the faith they could have. Hebrew Marriages used nose rings. I think it depends on the manner of the tatoo or piercing.

I actually feel much more at ease, since giving up on religion. I stopped smoking marijuana, calmed way down on my drinking, overcame the irrational fear of doctors controling my life. I was scared when I told my Dr. that I was no longer taking my medication. I explained to him everything and he signed the final paperwork. He didn't seem thrilled, either because he didn't believe in me, or he would no longer be getting my money. I start towards my Bachelor's degree in one week.
i went to a church after that one, but got fed up with all the shit for having my nose pierced and wearing clothes that i wanted to wear, and listening to the loud music that i enjoy. got tired of standing in a room full of people watching them sing "Come As You Are". My friend wrote a song that the church would sing ocassionaly, lyrics saying "if he came in covered in blood, would you still let him in?" hmmm. ironic. numerous failed attempts at numerous churches.

@kaileemouse thanks for the heads up. i'm lazy when it comes to the bible, because it is not something that interests me. i tried reading it when i was a kid, but it was too big. i was raised in the same church, 12 years from birth. people tithing 90 percent type of church. if you tithed any less than this, you didn't get to sit in the balcony. you sat underneath the rich people. Castewood Baptist Churh. the rich will always have a job there. the poor will eventually be brushed aside.
@dieimpossible It makes me sick to hear churches doing stuff like that. Do they read their Bibles? It doesn't matter how much you give, you give what you feel God leading you to give. People forget that if they're doing it just to look good, God hates that. God wants people to give from their hearts, not just what everyone else is doing. I go to a menno church, which is pacifist and my brothers are military boys. But our church loves and supports them. Sad that you didn't get the same experience

I personally don't really believe in religion per say... It's more of a personal relationship. Faith is what it is, not works. But ultimately, it's your call, so I'm not going to force it down your throat because you have your own beliefs... but I didn't 'get' it until I gave God a chance... not church people, or whoever... just saying.

they played this at my camp, everyone around me was crying cuz they felt that they should not even be loved by god cuz he died and we watched without giving it a second thought. but i couldn't cry cuz just thought avout how he want's us to be happy. i was happy he loved me so much and was in to much comfert to cry. :)
Well done video. I "liked" it. But I just can't get over the clash between the upbeat tone of the song and the tone of the movie. For me, at least, it just doesn't match.
it goes because the crucifixion of Christ was such a sad event, but such a glorious one. the song is about thanking God and praising God and rejoicing in this romance where Jesus gave his life for us. i think it conveys all the emotions successfully.
I'm moved to tears everytime I watch this. What an incredible display of sacrificial love! God is awesome and His love is shown through the precious blood of Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords. All I see is a beautiful love, a love that inspires me to love others the way Christ loves me.

@gasmbay he has such endurance because he loves the world so much that he went through all of that willingly so that we could be free, free from all of our sins that we have ever committed or ever will commit. He truly is the son of God, and God sent him down to save the world, and jesus did all of this and so much more that could not even be conveyed through a movie because he loves us so much, he could have ordered angels to come save him, but he went through it all for you, and for me!!

But Christianity can not be described as a religion, its an intimate relationship with the creator of the universe, a God big enough to breathe out all of the stars in the sky and be intimately involved with every detail of your life. He's an amazing God, and all he wants is to have a relationship with his children. I can't help but to glorify him!
So basically I looked up "From the Inside out" by The Campaign because its my all time favorite song (I went to Huma Lake Christian Camps and they were our chapel band), and my friend sent me this link and I adore it. I learned how to play it on guitar and have been listening to it non stop. This video made me want to watch the Passion of the Christ again.. and I'm glad I did. The song is great; even some of the psalms do not have deep theology. On the other side of the pendulum though, deep theological songs are not pooly written songs (usually just the opposite).

Oh gosh, that part where Jesus is a young boy and he falls down and Mary goes running to him in conjucntion with him carrying the cross makes me lose it every time. they played this at my camp, everyone around me was crying cuz they felt that they should not even be loved by god cuz he died and we watched without giving it a second thought. but i couldn't cry cuz just thought avout how he want's us to be happy. i was happy he loved me so much and was in to much comfert to cry. :)

it goes because the crucifixion of Christ was such a sad event, but such a glorious one. the song is about thanking God and praising God and rejoicing in this romance where Jesus gave his life for us. i think it conveys all the emotions successfully.

I'm moved to tears everytime I watch this. What an incredible display of sacrificial love! God is awesome and His love is shown through the precious blood of Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords. All I see is a beautiful love, a love that inspires me to love others the way Christ loves me.

@gasmbay he has such endurance because he loves the world so much that he went through all of that willingly so that we could be free, free from all of our sins that we have ever committed or ever will commit. He truly is the son of God, and God sent him down to save the world, and jesus did all of this and so much more that could not even be conveyed through a movie because he loves us so much, he could have ordered angels to come save him, but he went through it all for you, and for me!!

But Christianity can not be described as a religion, its an intimate relationship with the creator of the universe, a God big enough to breathe out all of the stars in the sky and be intimately involved with every detail of your life. He's an amazing God, and all he wants is to have a relationship with his children. I can't help but to glorify him!

So basically I looked up "From the Inside out" by The Campaign because its my all time favorite song (I went to Huma Lake Christian Camps and they were our chapel band), and my friend sent me this link and I adore it. I learned how to play it on guitar and have been listening to it non stop. This video made me want to watch the Passion of the Christ again.. and I'm glad I did. Nothing like a simple youtube video that can remind you how great God's love for us is.

we owed a debt we couldnt pay and jesus paid a debt he didnt owe. god gave his son he loved so..... I couldnt imagine losing my son and I cry every time I see this video. Oh gosh, that part where Jesus is a young boy and he falls down and Mary goes running to him in conjucntion with him carrying the cross makes me lose it every time. I can't imagine what it would have been like for her, to watch her son go through something He didn't even deserve. It just makes me realize more how much He truly loves us, that He would take all of our blame.
