@adamarchy Do you think the civil war was soley about slavery? It was really about state rights, but that goes ignored due to the success of the north afterward. Many southerners that possess the flag will tell you it's about heritage. Again, I'm sure some people use it as a symbol of racism, but it really isn't. I'm not from the south, so I can't relate. South Carolina used to or still may flly some form of a confederate flag. I remember hearing they were pressured to remove it in recent years.

Many southerners that possess the flag will tell you it's about heritage. Again, I'm sure some people use it as a symbol of racism, but it really isn't. I'm not from the south, so I can't relate. South Carolina used to or still may flly some form of a confederate flag. I remember hearing they were pressured to remove it in recent years.

Janeane sounds kinda like some of the middle eastern leaders that claim women have smaller brains and that's why they must be second class citizens. I agree with the speech the guy made at the tea party, only he didn't go far enough. Bush destroyed a budget surplus and brought us into record spending, but Obama expanded upon that spending dramatically and expanded all of Bush's policies. The mainstream Republican and Democratic party are both in the wrong and on the same path.

I'm not saying that black people are born disadvantaged because they're black, but they tend to be born into poorer families than other groups of society.
