@mjottman I told my friend what you commented, and he said that he has to start by doing it by hand before he can move on to the automated processes. Of course a cnc would be nice, but then you would have to have a computer and do all of the work before the first cut is made. This is more of a seat of the pants operation. @bmartin22 I checked out some videos about the car and talked to my friend Rob. He's the one in this video and he said that size rim would be too small for him to make. Sorry about that but it looks like a pretty cool car though.
I recently posted a video that shows the rc 57 drag car starting up and running for a little while on a custom roller stand. It's like a dyno except there are no wires or measurements taken from it. Soon there will be a video of it ripping down the asphalt. Thanks for the interest, TeederMcDribble.
sell everything and get a cnc...same results in 1/20th the time.
