I watched a performance from TSO in Grand Rapids Mi. I was not impressed with the fake musicians running around on stage flinging their hair. Amazing how they can run and jump around with instruments and not make any mistakes or get any feedback from the equipment. They did have an awesome lazer light show show though.

@thebest545...well, I had my sisters and their kids w/me and when I saw that the kids were asleep, and my both my sisters were making fun of the show, plus I was getting bored w/it as well, we all decided to leave. I love the laser, lights, etc., but after so many slow songs and that guy just standing there talking & some homeless character standing there talking for 15 min, I didn't think there was going to be much else going on. I was getting so restless myself.

The homeless character guy does have a pretty good voice but that part wasnt my favorite either. Trans Siberian Orchestra started out as a classical group and is only recently starting to branch out and do more rock which is a little more what their latest album is about. They still have a lot of slower songs. I believe they save Christmas in Sarajevo and more of their hit songs for their second half.

Went to see the show tonight in Hamilton. We are a family of 6 and all of us thought it was fantastic. Two and half hours, singing, dancing, instrumentals with light show and pyrotechnics. The music was varied and seemed to appeal to all ages. Why would you pay good money and not at least see the whole show before passing judgement?

@jozer1982 They only have 1 Christmas DVD, it's not from a live show-came out about 7 yrs. ago. I went to last show of their 1st ever spring tour in Dallas May 2nd 2010. They performed Beethoven's Last Night in its entirety and played 5 songs off of Night Castle. They had a camera crew filming it and said it would be made into a DVD. Spring tour was played in smaller venues so there was less lights and pyro than winter tour but still was an awesome concert and should make a great DVD.

It was THE WORST show I've ever seen. We walked out on it 1/2 way through. 2 good songs, all the rest was slow, the storyline made NO SENSE. I have never been more disappointed. $330 I could've used for something else, just wasted away. What a total, complete waste of time & money. It made me so angry. People, whatever videos you see on YouTube, all those good songs and they're rockin' out, yeah, you get maybe 2 of those songs out of 3 hours. I don't know, I walked out after 1 hour.

Why would you pay $330 and walk out after an hour? If I spent that much I would at least stay for the whole show even if I didnt like it that much. I thought the narration made sense though. Even if you dont like their music its hard not to enjoy their set with all the lasers, lights, fire, and that huge thing that rises like 100 feet in the air with the violin players.

This video has probably given more exposure to TSO than anything else, bringing more people to their concerts, and getting their CDs sold. To remove the audio is a slap in the face to their customers, I have bought 2 of their albums, and the wife and I have gone to 2 concerts because of this video.
