It's amazing that a cartoon can have such deep characters. At first sight Iroh is a happy old man that has little cares in the world, but as you watch further you realize that he lost alot with his son. I tearbend when I hear this. I like anime, but i'm not a fanatic for it. Seriously though, it was parts like this that made the show so amazing. It is probably my favorite anime of all time, whether competing with movies or shows.

I just wish it was longer, but it made sense where it ended. I wish I could watch more of it. The character development and depth was astounding. By the third book, you were actually emotionally attached to them.

this song is so sweet and heartbreaking. i love how zuko and iroh's relationship turned out in the end. zuko spent all his life trying to earn the love a father who never loved him. iroh's world came crashing down with lu ten's death. and then they found each other. i cried especially when iroh and zuko reconcile in the end.

i guess what i'm saying is, this song, for me, is as much a song for lu ten as it is for zuko.
