I eat only 100% plant based whole foods for six months now and I love it. My fitness level is off the charts. I am running farther and faster then I ever have in my life and I've been running my entire life. I find my recovery time is almost non-existent.
We are all pretty brain washed. I just started eating paleo diet and the way weston a. price suggests and it is soooo good. Check out the weston price website for more infornation about saturated fats. They are healthy!!!
The good saturated fats may taste better than the other fats but taste isn't always an indicator of how healthy a food is.
If you did a series of videos on the topic of how taste relates to quality of food, I'm sure that it would have to be quite extensive. MSG for example might require an entire video. Although it's not quite the same, I have seen videos on how to make healthy foods taste better. People eat Cheetos and other garbage for a reason. They like the taste.
@BestVideoResponse Um you know this video had like almost nothing to do with his vid ecepted for the last part he was talking about the healthy natural fats not the fake man made ones, man made stuff to say well like all of it is bad for u whole all natural really food is whats good for you rather its carbs, fats, or protiens its reall food not fake. maybe u should watch the vid again an list to it instead of just hearing the parts u want to..
low basal body temp = thyroid problems, didnt know eating fat would fix that. Thought toxins had to be cleaned out of the thyroid to repair body temp?
Your right about margarine smelling like motor oil. I opened a 5 kg pail of non hydrogenated margarine...the healthy kind! Boy did it smell like a pail of motor oil to me. I think that is because I have been making my own butter from fresh milk, and you really notice the difference.
Guys, your ancestors ate 50% saturated animal fats for 2 million years. You are NOT meant to eat vegitable fats. These fats are not found in nature and they would never have been eaten by your ancestors. Our society is killing us because the modern mantra is that factory fats are good for you. The opposite is true. The vegitable fats are what is causing all of our inflammatory diseases.
I agree totally with you. It irritates the heck out of me that you cannot go to any doctor today who will not want to put you on a statin drug if your cholesterol just a little above 200.
what about "the China" study: "Populations that consume more animal protein have higher blood cholesterol levels, which in turn are linked to greater rates of heart disease and cancer"
@Rapprochement123 Rice is tricky, since it's technically a seed - which have defense mechanisms called phytates. Soaking and sprouting removes these phytates (by making the seed think it's time to be planted and grow). This goes for (brown) rice, quinoa, raw almonds, etc.. Brown rice still has the hull, which can have some environmental toxins, and white rice is milled brown rice (no husk, bran, or germ). White rice is sometimes "polished" with talc. Use caution with rice.
@Le5hitbag The China Study was observational, so you can't get to the causes of disease because of confounding variables. There were 9,000 significant correlations in the study, interesting--but you can't make a diet from that. One of the most powerful was that wheat protein increases heart disease risk--it's funny they didn't make the cut for the book.. Another--meat and dairy had zero correlation to cancer risk. Bias in reporting? For more depth of criticism see rawfoodsos website.
@NaturalFoodsDiet thanks for your response to my response. I'm curious what your thoughts might be about Dr. David Brownstein's work with iodine. He makes some amazing claims. Thanks for the great vids :)
@Le5hitbag Do you ever watch how they cook there food? they fry it in olive oil or peanut oil or any oil really.... you cant fry with oil it destroys the good in the oil an turns it to a bad saturated fat... you cant base something off of just one thing an one culter, you have to run many test an take every thing into account, but they don't they just want to get it over with an they don't want to be wrong so they go by what they think...
Not always, and in fact two cultures of people, the Masai, and the Inuit both have a diet that is almost exclusively fat and cholesterol, and they have the lowest cholesterol levels of anyone on the planet.
@Le5hitbag Doctor Ornish, Doctor McDougal and Doctor Esselstyn came up with the same results, as the China study, in their studies. Their is no longer any doubt that a plant based diet is the most healthy, for a number of reasons. Unfortunately money is having a large influence on what we the public is told.

@BestVideoResponse The difference, which I mention in the video, is natural taste. Artificial flavors enhancers don't count.

@lge4590 What are you talking about? If you don't eat fat, you will not survive. The question is which fats to use.

@Le5hitbag
1) Cholesterol is not the root problem with heart disease & cancer. Look up Chris Kresser, and Chris Masterjohn. Cholesterol was a big lie.
2) The China Study results were cherry picked. Google "FreeTheAnimal China Study"
Since you're into doing proper research, study "Weston A. Price".
Also read "The Vegetarian Myth".
Avoiding ALL animal products is not right. Raw foods are incredibly healthy and powerful (see "kirlian").

@Le5hitbag
For health reasons:
1) 100% Grass-fed beef is incredibly healthy. Avoid conventional grain-fed beef fed GMO corn & soy.
2) Pastured chicken is incredibly healthy (including skin and the egg with yolk). Avoid conventional chicken fed GMO corn & soy.
3) Raw dairy from grass-fed cows (or goats) is amazingly healthy. Pasteurized dairy is toxic. This includes milk, butter, & cheese.
4) Avoid all vegetable oils like the plaque! They are HEAVILY processed and GMO
awesomelyhumble 1 month ago
@Le5hitbag
5) Please (vegans & vegetarians) - AVOID soy!!! Look up "Kaayla T. Daniel". Soy causes SERIOUS hormonal problems, thyrid problems, reproductive problems, and more. Including organic (nonn-GMO soy). ONLY fermented soy is okay (not good, but okay).
6) AVOID grains!! Look up "Dr. William Davis" author of "Wheat Belly". Super high glycemic, heavily processed, and toxic.
These are misunderstandings people have - especially vegetarians & vegans. Please be healthy.
