  • Thank you for this awesome video. My Grandmother was born in a mining camp in Central, MI.

I've never been up there, but I definitely will someday.

  • Oh, how I love the Keweenaw. My parents were born and raised there. I, unfortunately, was born a Troll but visit yearly--my heart is there, and I feel alive. I can't wait until I have the chance to move there permanently. Thanks for the video--it made me feel a bit closer to this place that I love.

  • I was writing about the clouds I saw in some of the scenes. If, MWFrontier, you are writing about snow (why?) I believe I know about that. I live in Houghton. 'Nuff said.

  • "Frontier county" was a "I did not know that" moment. Nice vid but looks like you had some mediocre weather, eh?

  • @jcurtis310 Mediocre? hmm yeah that definetly it, averaging about 18 to 23 per winter as of late. Oh Im sorry, thats feet son!!! Sound mediocre?

  • Nice video - interesting to know about the Keweenaw being a frontier county.

  • I'm a professional photographer and I travel all over North America. That said, Keweenaw is one of my favorite places on earth! I'm hoping to move there soon.

  • Nice video... and yes, it is heaven.

  • When you go over the Big Mack bridge you are in paradise. When you cross the Houghton/Hancock bridge you are in HEAVEN. I left my heart in the Keweenaw many years ago and rejoin it yearly. Someday it will be permanent. Thanks for the great views and music.

  • Wonderful work! Love it.
