george didn't participate beacuse the invite it was wide to all the actors and not only to him.

he thought about being the true star and it was envious of MR T. in fact he earned more than him and was more famous.

George peppard had a bad character and didn't have good relationships with Mr T.

Besides on the set Hannibal was unmanageable and conceited. It also had problems of alcoholism and smoke
