  • thanx :) it works

  • You totally saved my life! Thank you so much!

  • i did the thing you told me to but it still keep poping up the virus

  • Maybe it's the wrong virus. If not, The only important thing is that you follow what i do on Malware bytes exactly. You have to delete the virus after the scan. You may have to run the full scan.

  • @unclestilkins malaware bytes WORKED!!!All My Cookies worms spycookies tweaky wweak virus are ALL GONE!!THANKS THANKS THANKS TO YOU AND MALAWARE BYTES FOUNDER!!! Now my PC IS RUNNING LIGHTNING FAST SPEED

  • wow.... if only i had malwarebytes before i got hit with this virus... i kept trying to get it and it wouldnt let meh even download it.. did a restore to a week ago and you can bet i am downloading malwarebytes right this second...

  • Lucky you, I can't restore back to any time period because I never did... I can't even go back to when I first got the computer.

  • Wow! Your awesome! Thanks a million.

  • vista guardian is fucing rogue crapware.... i hate it allong with internet security 2010

  • is it supposed to say "cannot import C:\Users\Name\Desktop\fix.reg: the specified file is not a registry script. you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor." when i double click on the fix.reg?

  • No.

you can go to your "START" button-

    select "Run. . ."

    inside the box type "Regedit"

    click "OK"

Select "File" - Go down to "EXPORT"

Select your "Desk Top" to save it on

Name the file "fix.reg" and save.

go back to your desk top- and open the file with "Notepad"- then copy and paste what I have on the side bar, and follow the instructions after that.

  • you are good at this thanks for your help.

  • if they are infeacted and if you delete it what will happen if you download it again?

  • it will come back. then you can run the program without the fix.reg because its already in use.

  • would Norton Internet Security work?

  • yes. I would reccomend the full scan though

  • oh my goodness thank you

  • damn kid

  • Thanks your video was so fuckin helpful..

  • I scan it, get about 301 viruses, and most of them say delete on reboot so I restart my computer but the virus is still sending me messages and updates. Also, alot of the files are under the quarantine tab, is that alright, does that mean its gone, or just frozen, and does deleting the quarantined ones get rid of it? thanks for the vid by the way!

  • thanks a lot man, that thing was really pissing me off

  • why do you have to save that not pad thing? i ran malawarebytes without it and it got rid of the virus.

  • thats if it wont let you run Malwarbytes. That only happens if you let the virus scan (which its actually spreading).

  • I tried all these suggestions and the ones I found on google. They didn't work. This thing shut down the task manager, which i finally fixed in the registry. I can't install or run malwarebytes even with a different name from a CD. I tried taking out the hard drive and making it a "slave" on another computer. Then I could run malwarebytes and scan the E drive, but it doesn't check the slave drive's root directory. So it doesn't find anything. But it's still there. Thanks for the video, though.

  • open task manager then click processess tab then find av.exe or av*32.exe depending on your comp and end processe then you can run malwarebytes

  • Task manager wouldn't open, but I found out how to change the registry to show it. I then could stop av.exe. But I still couldn't install Malwarebytes. It wouldn't quite finish. Finally, I attached the hard drive as a secondary drive to my pc. I could then scan with Malwarebytes, but didn't find it for some reason. But I knew it was there. Finally, with that setup, I scanned the secondary drive with Housecall. That got it. Then I could scan with Malwarebytes to clean up. Worst case I've seen.

  • wished I would have found this video an hour ago!!!! This nasty virus changed almost all of the files on my cpu..got rid of all .exe files, and deleted mozilla firefox..ended up having to zap my cpu, and start from scratch.

  • I just got hella nasty vista virus's of doom! They wouldnt let me use internet search, so I went through all my files for hours...im a tech noob. When I got to the windows files I found and deleted over 400 virus files!!! My system was still jacked. I was stumped and decided to reboot. I put in vista recovery CD and found out that you can recover like 10 days ago! like it never happened! I was worried I would have to start over with my pc. yay im so happy, now i can cancel geeks for less!

  • lol you are a noob aren't you? it's okay we all have to start somewhere. If you get another virus, I recomend superfreeantispyware...or any other anti spam bot. just google it, and once you download it..this scans all of your files for you..lol saving you hours of searching..once it's done scanning, just click finish..it will reboot your cpu, and then your done! Sometimes recovering your cpu doesn't do the trick, so I run this guy every week or so...hope this helps, and saves you some time!

  • well normally I just google search the problem and find a download to fix it. This spyware or virus however would not let me get on the internet. When I clicked on search it would freak out and shut off... Im gonna be ready with preinstalled antispyware in case this happens again.

  • Thank you. This appears to have worked. I didn't have to use majorgeeks, however.

  • pretty good thanks you

  • This isn't working for me help!!!! it wont let me instal mbam

  • click the yellow bar at the top of the screen and "Download"

  • Also another way, (before you read the rest you need another computer and a Flash Drive) is to use the other computer to save the installer to your jump drive by:

    1.Going to Malwarebytes . org

2.Clicking Download Free Version (the blue button)

3.Clicking either of the Major Geek Downloads

4.Click on the Yellow Bar, and if it doesn't come up click the "Click here if it does not" and clicking Dowload

    5. Save to My Computer/Local Disk (_:)

    6.Install on the infected computer

  • can use also spyware doctor on this if u don't hav Malware Bytes?

  • yes, but you may want to do a full sacn then (if thats an option)

  • Im having trouble with saving it as fix.reg. How the hell did you do it?

  • In the sidebar theres text. copy and paste it into a notepad document and save it to your Desktop.

When you find it on your desktop, right click on it and select "rename" now rename it as fix.reg .

  • you can go to your "START" button-

    select "Run. . ."

    inside the box type "Regedit"

    click "OK"

Select "File" - Go down to "EXPORT"

Select your "Desk Top" to save it on

Name the file "fix.reg" and save.

go back to your desk top- and open the file with "Notepad"- then copy and paste what *Unclestilkins* has on the side bar, and follow his instructions after that.

  • Kid, you are a life saver. -

it worked for me, but i think you need to re-make the video, and show how to make the "fix.reg" file.

i think a lot of people wont know how to do it.

ill subscribe to your channel, hope to see the new video.
