How the hell do you play this game, I keep hitting the damn wall, am I doing something wrong? is there some trick to it that I'm missing? Can anyone help. It's like my car is on ice and sliding everywhere. Never played any of these games before, its so much harder than Mario Kart.

Oh man this is my fav f-zero....Alot of people dun like it beacause OH ITZ TO SLOW! OH ITS NOT 3D ENOUGH FOR MEH! EW THE GRAPHICS SUCK! This is on the GBA, it has better graphics and sounds then the SNES, which was 5 times bigger. The music, levels, ships, and courses is what makes me really crave for a F-ZERO MV 2.

@emojo1990 Actual hardware didn't have slowdown, and believe me, the SNES could not do double layer mode 7 or sprite scaling in hardware. GBA was better in every regard except sound as it didn't have it's own chip.

Since i loved the snes when i was a kid. I bought me F-Zero Maximum Velocity for my GBA which i did get for 20 bucks last week. Portable SNES, just epic ... but about F-Zero Maximum Velocity, took me just 1 Race to find an Exploid that works for every Jet and will let you take 90 to 180° turns without hitting a wall at full speed without Airbreaks or breaking at all, works everywhere cept on icey underground. Beat all 3 GP's on highest Difficulty within 50 minutes :3

Well, you're not driving as drunk now. Now you need to learn when to hold A for the starting boost for whatever machine you're using, that boosts are done with L+R and that you must hold down when you use a ramp to jump.
