  • @celFuror sounds like you're the DEMON, exercising your FEELINGs about a song you happen to not understand one little bit. If this is EMO then you take the cake for most EMOest, trollest comment ever posted on youtube. Please you lil insignificant hater, go else where to release your angst, perferable to a rap/pop song, but my guess is that junk is your cup of tea. correct me if i'm wrong. this song owns you and all you could ever become.

  • such a chill mellow song

  • i love this song, its so atmospheric and idyllic. I also love the guitar riff in the middle.

  • "We were young. We had momentum. We were winning."

Cusack, John (Hot Tub Time Machine)

  • ONE M0:00RE WITH FEELING!

  • Is mayonnaise an instrument?

  • simply perfect................

  • Love Siamese Dream.

This is one of my favourite songs from the album, because they somehow get a remarkably warm feel from fairly distorted guitars playing power chords.

  • Shut the fuck up or ill hit you in YOUR goddamn mangina, you motherfucker punk. RAHHHSMASHINGPUMPKINS!!!

  • @celFuror First...not an emo band, second...you just listened to it by posting that, third...You live under a rock if you thought emos arent around anymore. So get your fag ass off my (and the rest of these guys who know good music) song.

    Slayinsanta out

  • @celFuror why don't you move out of your mother's basement, and get a life, this song is better than anything you will ever achieve in your meaningless spit of an existence.

  • @celFuror I never thought of it that way.........

  • @celFuror shut up cunt

  • @celFuror Go back to your stupid Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black

  • I love this songg and the name is unbeatable :) smashing pumpkins 4 ever

  • This is the song that pulled me into Pumpkinland back so many years ago.. and I have never left!!

  • I only like elctro/house/club music I hate all the the Avril Lavigne/Linking Park/Pramoore. But pumkins are the exeptional thing that made me rethink about my oppinion. I heard them for the first time 6 years ago. I totaly cant get a day without listening at least to one of their songs. Sadly nowdays bands can't get something beutiful as this they can only achieve to copy the smashing and yet they copy them badly...

  • so calming

  • AWESOME

  • Pics are way better than the music.... and thats too much to say dude

  • @jjssllmm woah.. you are really fucked up.. anyone can edit a couple of pics.. nobody can make musical art like Billy Corgan

  • @CrimsonGetsu hey dude chill he was just complimenting the pics no reason to get worked up about it

  • AndyR0b what you ment to say is 20 people clicked the wrong button

  • I think 20 people's finger slipped. I don't understand someone simply disliking this song.

  • this video fits the mood so well, thank you.

  • Cool video. thanks

  • it's like kissing a stray or holding your hand out in the rain, sleet or snow. to not like this is to be an artichoke or as aloysis swivelpicklerod put it - dead inside

  • GRANDI !!!

  • yo this song is awesome

  • @TheSonsofHorusx Me too. I was a troubled teen once apon a time and i always used this song to relax, escape and think that "WHEN I CAN I WILL".

  • who took the pic's ?

  • This song literally changed my life.

  • @theorysbox Me too. once upon a time ago when i was troubled teen i used to relax to this song and escape and think that "WHEN I CAN I WILL". Never forget this song.

  • this song is the answer to the worlds problems...

  • 20 people prefer Miracle Whip

  • 20 people suck my nuts

  • this song is the best to slow dance too...give me thumbs up if you agree!

  • celebrate life!

  • You know what caught me on this? Was that when editing I am very critical on balance, but after looking at perfectly balanced pictures for 5:54,it makes me want to reach in and offset half of them...particularly during the riffs

  • you did a great job with this.

  • I like mayonaise for the ears but not the mouth:) , yet we peacefully coexist because of this song.

  • @Bradazzkid14 I <3 you... your my new hero

  • i love the photo

  • @mami939 yeah, like which one?

  • This song reminds me of hanging out at a buddy's house in his bedroom with some other friends. While he practices playing his guitar me and my other friends just get bored and smoke some weed with our hoodies on, while I wonder what the future brings. God how I miss 1994!

  • Mayonaise is good on everything that you can eat :)

  • I Just Want to Beeeeeeeeeeee me!!!!!

  • best song ever from the Smashing Pumpkins.

    i love it

  • This song moves me to tears.

  • One of those rare songs that can take your mind on a time machine holiday.

  • awesome song, awesome band!

  • Saw them in 1993 when i was a freshman in college.......awesome still!!!

  • Great song from a great album.

  • lovely song, very nice for a fan vid, i watched it, nice pics

  • This is a visual and auditory gallery of perfection. Thank you SP for this piece of music.

  • 20 people hate mayonaise

  • @gingerbasher22 They thought it was for their sandwich! LOL

  • I am in LOVE with this song...in my thoughts it reflects life. The way starts slow and smooth (birth) and slowly progresses into a harder sound (living life) and then again progresses back into a soft and calming sound (death)

  • mayonesa! ja

  • Whoever compiled this : THANK YOU ... Thank You ever so much ! :)

A thoroughly captivating collage of shots sets to a song that could not have been better chosen. Brilliant creativity. Brilliant execution. Great pics !!!

Five of the best minutes ever spent on the net .... Such a gloroius clip !

  • One of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. Does anyone know what guitar pedal he is using on the intro?

This brings back sweet memories of the Reading festival 1995. x

  • 20 people are obviously stupid, lol.

  • hmm..

  • images are stoopid and mean nothing to this song.

  • been listening to this song for too many years and it still gives me goosebumps every time i hear it! creativity at its best...

  • I want to like The Smashing Pumpkins.

  • @DocSicnarf dont like them if you dont like them

  • This song takes me back to that warm safe place. <3 forever.

  • The nineties were awesome, the 00's sucked, maybe the 10's will be awesome thanks to the internet and the fact that anyone can make a song and put it up for download. Mainstream will disappear. People will go online and decide for themselves what music they like :)

  • @warriors41 so true, except with internet came justin bieber. dark times ahead my friend

  • shut your mouth and strike the demons. the only thing you can do once the hope is gone..

  • i remember my band, this song was our favorite

  • I listen to this song AT LEAST once EVERYDAY. The guitar in this song just hits you like a giant wave, then you got priceless lyrics.

  • Nice photos

  • I grew up with the pumpkins too... Its just that everyone else in my generation DIDNT. Stupid Bieber... D:

  • We were so lucky, 90s were happy and dark times and we all grew up with amazing music and i think, purer minds than now, maybe is just a question of time, of love, of human feelings we still had, now i think all of this is going to the trash, only money, you can buy your happines? we conquer our own happiness in secret instants as we were listening beautiful songs like this one

  • The 19 people who doesn't like this needs to have their ears removed. They don't deserve them.

  • @Enraged10

    20 now! ;)

  • Grunge died before i got to expierience it. Dont all these new "artists" feel guilty when they hear this. BTW why is it called Mayonaise?

  • sighhhh....

  • this is music...

  • I'll change this fad of shallow music.

    I promise you all.

  • @yankeesrule23 I'm pretty sure kids listened to crap in the 90's....britney spears, nsync, billy ray cyrus....hell. It gives me hope that music like this is the stuff that is remembered

  • GOD!!! tomorrow I turn 30 years old, I'm crying already with this song!!

  • @aggelos0225 so, happy birthday, the time pass so fast, you´re getting older, but I always want to go away to feel distant for the world that I live, when I listen this song

  • Una din trupele care mi-au marcat adolescenta...cate amintiri....THANKS S.P.!

  • This song made me blow my crap pop-music 8 years ago and go for 100% rock, punk, you name it. Awesome band, Smashing pumpkins forever!

  • My favorite song of all time.

  • BELLY AND CONRAD FOREVER AND EVER

  • i was born in 93, wish i was born sooner :( never got enough time to appreciate how great the 90's were, i still miss it though

  • @TheRNP93, I feel your pain, I was born in '90 and while I rememeber the 'pumpkins, not very well...

  • @ZeroTearAvaAdore i vaguely remember a couple of their songs, must have been on the radio or something when i was younger

  • @TheRNP93 Pretty much the same here. All I grew up listening to was the pop music all the elementary school kids liked.

  • Not to mention that this song is OK....nothing special

  • @murfmonkey sorry to disagree, but in my opinion you're definitely understimating a true piece of art (and i'm talking about SIAMESE DREAM, one of the best rock albums of the nineties. period)

  • everyone here acts like this was the top of the charts in the 90s, because it wasnt. You can't compare this era to the 90s because there hasn't been enough time to weed out the pop hits that may not be such great songs

  • @murfmonkey um... as far as i can tell, nobody said anything close to claiming this was a chart topper. quite the contrary, our love for this music is made greater by the fact we knew it wasn't a well publicized gem, either in its day or today.

as for the second statement, well, one can only feel pity for someone who displays such woeful taste in art.

  • so true man the 90's i believe was the decade to be a teenager in man, 90's music lives on in me forever...... ROCK SAVES

  • i love it

  • early 90's had so much great music from people you wrote and played the music, now days its all auto tuned and fake.....UGH!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful images that complement a beautiful song..! Thanks very much for this...!

  • this song is it's own genre. it's called Mayonaise.

  • I JUST WANT TO BE ME WHEN I CAN!

  • all the time cant be given back shut my mouth and strike the deamons, cursed you and your reasons, out of hyme and out of season, out of love and out of feeling ...so bad when i can;...

  • I love your picture selection - goes really well with the guitar intro of the song!

    great job!

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • Me lembra um tempo muito especial na minha vida. Muito importante. E não deveria ser triste, mas tem um fundo triste.

  • Very nice perspective! If I had to pick only one album to ever get to listen to again, it would be Siamese Dream....ahhh the memories.

  • So many memories are attached to this music...this song... they'll live forever and so will the music. I love it!

  • better song, hummer or mayonnaise?

  • @doctordamnable Hummer in my opinion.

  • @Cpaterson132

Why doesn't some one post hummer ? I have been lookin for that song and can't find it .

  • Beautiful.

  • OKFREND = EPICALLY RIGHT

  • when I hear this song, it makes me stop in my tracks. I grew up with the pumpkins. They are my own safe place.

  • @susanandlittles1 You and me both! There's a lot of meaning to the line "I miss everything I'll never be." But it's this song, Disarm, and Zero that will make me stop whatever I am going and listening... causing all of those memories from high school to come flooding back. Some good, some bad... but all a huge part of me... as this bad was and always will be. Only Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam have had the same effect.

  • @Unlitedsoul me too, when i hear rooster, yellowledbetter, black, mayonaise, i am transported back into the arms of my high school sweetheart amy, i graduated back in 1997

  • @susanandlittles1 Well put man.

  • @susanandlittles1 I feel you on that sister!!!

  • truuue that.

  • The 18 dislikes truly don't know beauty when they see or hear it. This song is beautiful and in my opinion, one of the best songs ever made. For me its right up there with Pink Floyd's song "Time" from "Dark Side of the Moon". It's truly that beautiful.

  • @tommyboyladylova true dat

  • Mayonaise is my joint fave along with Hummer.

Epic song and epic fuzzy riffs :)

  • @Sharingan6277 i love smoking a joint and listening to mayonaise

  • @sirwinfredsmith

    LOL! awesum!

I luv being doped on LSD whilst listening to Black Hole Sun

  • @Sharingan6277 try dropping acid and listening to nine inch nails, the fragile, the downward spiral.....at night, in darkness....

  • @sirwinfredsmith

    hahahah LOL.

    I'm clean now.

  • No Patrick, Mayonaise is not an instrument.

  • amazing song amazing photos....

  • This is my absolute favorite song ever. Seriously. I may mess around with a top 5 albums, top 5 songs, etc, every once in a while, but i never put this under number one on anything I make a list of.

  • My favorite song by them and they have plenty of good ones to choose from.

  • @MrJasonmatteson Not my favorite, put I more then agree with PLENTY songs to choose from sir.

  • 18 people are old women

  • @SALVOTHESTONEDONE my mom is an old woman and likes this song

  • Comment removed

  • I love how every comment on every smashing Pumpkins video is all about how new music sucked and the 90's was the best. Well my response to that is, FUCK YEAHH! :D

  • It's a shame the kids nowadays have to listen to PURE CRAP...Beiber,Gaga, Keisha!

Are you kidding me??? We had the best in the 90's Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Rage...etc. 90's ruled...today just flat out sucks!!

  • @yankeesrule23 I totally agree with you, music has sucked royal ass this decade and past... I feel sad 4 this generation, this modern music is just horrible. the voice of their generation is going to be Lady dog dog??/, or Justin Beaver? Miley Cyrus??/ I mean look at past generations: The Stones, GNR, Metallica, the Beatles, Pumpkins, Nirvana, jimi Hendrix, these people changed music forever.no one from this generation will be remembered like that.

  • @yankeesrule23 system of a down is up there with rage against the machine and system came a bit later

  • @yankeesrule23 hey dont forget TOOL, ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, and even rap was better.. 2pac, biggie, Big pun.. no comparison to today... music today is wackkkk most of it anywayz

  • @yankeesrule23 hey dont forget TOOL, ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, and even rap was better.. 2pac, biggie, Big pun.. no comparison to today... music today is wackkkk most of it anywayz AND yankees suk too lol sox allday!!!

  • @yankeesrule23 Agreed, what the fuck happened along the way, music went to total shit with only a handful of bands worth mentioning these days :/ Even the bad stuff wasn't that bad

  • @TurismoCoyote I find that as time goes on, the "bad" old songs get much better. Even though they were bad as compared to other music at the time they were new, they are much better than songs that have come along since.

  • @SkitzerPoindexter Yeah, that might be it :P

  • @yankeesrule23 i wish i could like your comment 1,000 more times... long live Grunge!!!!!

  • @yankeesrule23 Word.

  • @yankeesrule23 but we have facebookdotcom/kellystripp3r

  • @yankeesrule23 dont forget the under rated blind melon! spin doctors, oasis, red hot chilli peppers. wat a great decade!

  • @vokes113 Blind Melon is my shit!!!

  • @vokes113 So true. Such good bands.

  • @yankeesrule23 you forgot Deftones man

  • @yankeesrule23 the thing is we "kids" realize that the artist you mentioned are PURE CRAP so we listen to the classics or find artist of today who are actually skilled.

  • @yankeesrule23 Yeah, but think about it...on the same token, everyone in the generations before us say the same shit about us and our music. Also, you are comparing pop to grunge/rock in your comment. There is some good rock now-a-days, no? I agree about the lack of taste in most teens today though.

This song is amazing. <3 Good video, BTW @SlideshowArt

  • @yankeesrule23 I think every generation says that, my dad says the 70s, my brother says the 90s my mother says the 80s. Music connects to people as we grow up. Linkin Park is a great band from the 2000's. Music is always good man

  • @mattwattyz Linkin Park are pretty much the ONLY great band from the 2000's. So yeah, the 90's was the musical golden age because there already were the classics of the past, the many great bands producing better and better stuff, and back then there would have seemed to be hope for music in the future. But nowadays music is just getting worse and worse, and just when you can't think it can get any worse, IT DOES AND CONTINUES TO DO SO. Which is lame.

  • @KABOOOMER Here is a list : Muse, Disturbed, System of a Down, Breaking Benjamin, Audio Slave, The White Stripes, The Killers, The Strokes, Kings Of Leon, Rise Against, Rob Zombie(Solo). IF you dont like these bands then you dont like music. These are just a few i thought of.

  • @mattwattyz You forgot the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana

  • @hamsterofdoom397 My list are great bands of the 2000s. RHCP is a great band now but they started out in the 80s and Nirvana was only around for the 90s

  • @KABOOOMER The only great band of 00's? You should check out bands such as Brand New, Band of Horses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Manchester Orchestra, MGMT, The Paper Kites. Matthew and the Atlas, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, etc. I could go on. Huge music lover here! =o)

  • @ButterflyFeerie lol you fucking hipster.

  • @iHaveGeekStinkBreath I don't define myself by the music I listen to. Labels are lame. I like to listen to a little bit of everything - classic rock, R&B, oldies, alternative, some country, rock, etc. Maybe you should expand your horizons? ;-)

  • @ButterflyFeerie i agree

  • @KABOOOMER true, music is pretty much just another mass produced product today, its a rare thing when you come across something home made and a quallity that will last a lifetime.

  • this makes me think of my father...dad, "I just want to be me...when I can..."

  • If you know some young kid or you are one who is not familiar with earlier rock Siamese Dream is a great starter album.

  • @whpriol1 i play music for my high school students before class starts and the pumpkins are part of what i play, during bully awareness week i played jeremy from pearl jam with the video on a big screen.

  • nice pics who took 'em?

  • My favourite Pumpkins song... :)

  • Who wants to be the 19th IDIOT to dislike this song?!! I bet all 18 of them finished watching the vid. instead of going to another page... stupid.

  • check out The academy is...' version. their cover of this song is so amazing :)

  • this song brings truth and love and spills out honesty

  • 18 people dislike this song. I give them my love because they are my brothers and sisters just like all of you.

  • 18 people should change their vote :/
