@celFuror sounds like you're the DEMON, exercising your FEELINGs about a song you happen to not understand one little bit. You know what caught me on this? Was that when editing I am very critical on balance, but after looking at perfectly balanced pictures for 5:54,it makes me want to reach in and offset half of them...particularly during the riffs
This song reminds me of hanging out at a buddy's house in his bedroom with some other friends. While he practices playing his guitar me and my other friends just get bored and smoke some weed with our hoodies on, while I wonder what the future brings. God how I miss 1994!

The nineties were awesome, the 00's sucked, maybe the 10's will be awesome thanks to the internet and the fact that anyone can make a song and put it up for download. Mainstream will disappear. People will go online and decide for themselves what music they like :)
We were so lucky, 90s were happy and dark times and we all grew up with amazing music and i think, purer minds than now, maybe is just a question of time, of love, of human feelings we still had, now i think all of this is going to the trash, only money, you can buy your happines? we conquer our own happiness in secret instants as we were listening beautiful songs like this one
@yankeesrule23 I'm pretty sure kids listened to crap in the 90's....britney spears, nsync, billy ray cyrus....hell. It gives me hope that music like this is the stuff that is remembered
@aggelos0225 so, happy birthday, the time pass so fast, you´re getting older, but I always want to go away to feel distant for the world that I live, when I listen this song
@murfmonkey sorry to disagree, but in my opinion you're definitely understimating a true piece of art (and i'm talking about SIAMESE DREAM, one of the best rock albums of the nineties. period)
everyone here acts like this was the top of the charts in the 90s, because it wasnt. You can't compare this era to the 90s because there hasn't been enough time to weed out the pop hits that may not be such great songs
@murfmonkey um... as far as i can tell, nobody said anything close to claiming this was a chart topper. quite the contrary, our love for this music is made greater by the fact we knew it wasn't a well publicized gem, either in its day or today.
as for the second statement, well, one can only feel pity for someone who displays such woeful taste in art.
all the time cant be given back shut my mouth and strike the deamons, cursed you and your reasons, out of hyme and out of season, out of love and out of feeling ...so bad when i can;...
@susanandlittles1 You and me both! There's a lot of meaning to the line "I miss everything I'll never be." But it's this song, Disarm, and Zero that will make me stop whatever I am going and listening... causing all of those memories from high school to come flooding back. Some good, some bad... but all a huge part of me... as this bad was and always will be. Only Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam have had the same effect.
@Unlitedsoul me too, when i hear rooster, yellowledbetter, black, mayonaise, i am transported back into the arms of my high school sweetheart amy, i graduated back in 1997
The 18 dislikes truly don't know beauty when they see or hear it. This song is beautiful and in my opinion, one of the best songs ever made. For me its right up there with Pink Floyd's song "Time" from "Dark Side of the Moon". It's truly that beautiful.
This is my absolute favorite song ever. Seriously. I may mess around with a top 5 albums, top 5 songs, etc, every once in a while, but i never put this under number one on anything I make a list of.
I love how every comment on every smashing Pumpkins video is all about how new music sucked and the 90's was the best. Well my response to that is, FUCK YEAHH! :D
@yankeesrule23 I totally agree with you, music has sucked royal ass this decade and past... I feel sad 4 this generation, this modern music is just horrible. the voice of their generation is going to be Lady dog dog??/, or Justin Beaver? Miley Cyrus??/ I mean look at past generations: The Stones, GNR, Metallica, the Beatles, Pumpkins, Nirvana, jimi Hendrix, these people changed music forever.no one from this generation will be remembered like that.
@yankeesrule23 hey dont forget TOOL, ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, and even rap was better.. 2pac, biggie, Big pun.. no comparison to today... music today is wackkkk most of it anywayz
@yankeesrule23 hey dont forget TOOL, ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, and even rap was better.. 2pac, biggie, Big pun.. no comparison to today... music today is wackkkk most of it anywayz AND yankees suk too lol sox allday!!!
@yankeesrule23 Agreed, what the fuck happened along the way, music went to total shit with only a handful of bands worth mentioning these days :/ Even the bad stuff wasn't that bad
@TurismoCoyote I find that as time goes on, the "bad" old songs get much better. Even though they were bad as compared to other music at the time they were new, they are much better than songs that have come along since.
@yankeesrule23 the thing is we "kids" realize that the artist you mentioned are PURE CRAP so we listen to the classics or find artist of today who are actually skilled.
@yankeesrule23 Yeah, but think about it...on the same token, everyone in the generations before us say the same shit about us and our music. Also, you are comparing pop to grunge/rock in your comment. There is some good rock now-a-days, no? I agree about the lack of taste in most teens today though.
This song is amazing. <3 Good video, BTW @SlideshowArt
@yankeesrule23 I think every generation says that, my dad says the 70s, my brother says the 90s my mother says the 80s. Music connects to people as we grow up. Linkin Park is a great band from the 2000's. Music is always good man
@mattwattyz Linkin Park are pretty much the ONLY great band from the 2000's. So yeah, the 90's was the musical golden age because there already were the classics of the past, the many great bands producing better and better stuff, and back then there would have seemed to be hope for music in the future. But nowadays music is just getting worse and worse, and just when you can't think it can get any worse, IT DOES AND CONTINUES TO DO SO. Which is lame.
@KABOOOMER Here is a list : Muse, Disturbed, System of a Down, Breaking Benjamin, Audio Slave, The White Stripes, The Killers, The Strokes, Kings Of Leon, Rise Against, Rob Zombie(Solo). IF you dont like these bands then you dont like music. These are just a few i thought of.
@hamsterofdoom397 My list are great bands of the 2000s. RHCP is a great band now but they started out in the 80s and Nirvana was only around for the 90s
@KABOOOMER The only great band of 00's? You should check out bands such as Brand New, Band of Horses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Manchester Orchestra, MGMT, The Paper Kites. Matthew and the Atlas, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, etc. I could go on. Huge music lover here! =o)
@iHaveGeekStinkBreath I don't define myself by the music I listen to. Labels are lame. I like to listen to a little bit of everything - classic rock, R&B, oldies, alternative, some country, rock, etc. Maybe you should expand your horizons? ;-)
@KABOOOMER true, music is pretty much just another mass produced product today, its a rare thing when you come across something home made and a quallity that will last a lifetime.
@whpriol1 i play music for my high school students before class starts and the pumpkins are part of what i play, during bully awareness week i played jeremy from pearl jam with the video on a big screen.

@yankeesrule23 Agreed, what the fuck happened along the way, music went to total shit with only a handful of bands worth mentioning these days :/ Even the bad stuff wasn't that bad
TurismoCoyote 9 months ago
@TurismoCoyote I find that as time goes on, the "bad" old songs get much better. Even though they were bad as compared to other music at the time they were new, they are much better than songs that have come along since.

@yankeesrule23 the thing is we "kids" realize that the artist you mentioned are PURE CRAP so we listen to the classics or find artist of today who are actually skilled.
Ccola3 9 months ago
@yankeesrule23 Yeah, but think about it...on the same token, everyone in the generations before us say the same shit about us and our music. Also, you are comparing pop to grunge/rock in your comment. There is some good rock now-a-days, no? I agree about the lack of taste in most teens today though.
This song is amazing. <3 Good video, BTW @SlideshowArt

@yankeesrule23 I think every generation says that, my dad says the 70s, my brother says the 90s my mother says the 80s. Music connects to people as we grow up. Linkin Park is a great band from the 2000's. Music is always good man
mattwattyz 8 months ago

These are just a few i thought of.
mattwattyz 8 months ago
@mattwattyz You forgot the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana
hamsterofdoom397 8 months ago 3
@hamsterofdoom397 My list are great bands of the 2000s. RHCP is a great band now but they started out in the 80s and Nirvana was only around for the 90s
mattwattyz 8 months ago
@KABOOOMER The only great band of 00's? You should check out bands such as Brand New, Band of Horses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Manchester Orchestra, MGMT, The Paper Kites. Matthew and the Atlas, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, etc. I could go on. Huge music lover here! =o)

@ButterflyFeerie lol you fucking hipster.
iHaveGeekStinkBreath 8 months ago
@iHaveGeekStinkBreath I don't define myself by the music I listen to. Labels are lame. I like to listen to a little bit of everything - classic rock, R&B, oldies, alternative, some country, rock, etc. Maybe you should expand your horizons? ;-)

@ButterflyFeerie i agree

@KABOOOMER true, music is pretty much just another mass produced product today, its a rare thing when you come across something home made and a quallity that will last a lifetime.
