I have an 8 year old African Grey, whilst watching this vedio, i was trying to mak out what your parrot was saying, "Merry Xmas" than he done some sexy whistle sounds. My African Grey was listening when he heard your parrot's Sexy Whistle he too started his
Sexy Whistle.... Do you think they are in love....lol.
Juma is a lovely bird. "Where's my kiss?" ...loved it. Also, have been trying to teach my 2 greys "Merry Christmas" for about 10 years, and no luck. Good job, Juma. :-)
Juma is a 10 year old African Grey we've had since he was 6 months old. He started talking fairly early on and now has about 75 words and phrases that he knows.
2 interesting points are that he speaks in the tone of voice of the person he learned the word from, and
he also does mechanical sounds incredibly well (water running, phones ringing etc.) Our favorite Juma moment is almost every night when we're about to cover him up at bedtime, he says "good night" in a little voice.
