No, I didn't say he didn't destroy his WMD after the Gulf War. He must have destroyed them (or gotten rid of them, or something) after the war, but he also barred any inspectors from entering his country to verify it. @kamakaziRider88 Well, I've read about this, buddy. At the end of the Gulf War, the allies did destroy a large amount of Saddam's WMD (not all, I don't know why). So, after the Gulf War, he did, in fact, have WMD. The allies wanted him to destroy them, he never did provided the evidence that he did (which, as I said, he must have or gotten rid of them, since we didn't find them, right?). But that was only part of the reason for entering Iraq and it doesn't change any of the good its caused.

If Saddam didn't want US dollars for his oil, that would hurt himself much more than the US, certainly not enough to invade. Since the dollar is the WRC, any good bought on the World Market must be in dollars. We knew that, after the Gulf War, Saddam did have WMD, and he was ordered to destroy them and then provide the UN with the evidence of it. He never provided the evidence, and the Security Council passed several "This is your last chance" resolutions, and George Bush put the decision for war solely on him. On top of that, we know that had we not removed him from power, he would've pursued even more power WMD.

@kamakaziRider88 Well, I've read about this, buddy. At the end of the Gulf War, the allies did destroy a large amount of Saddam's WMD (not all, I don't know why). So, after the Gulf War, he did, in fact, have WMD. The allies wanted him to destroy them, he never did provided the evidence that he did (which, as I said, he must have or gotten rid of them, since we didn't find them, right?). But that was only part of the reason for entering Iraq and it doesn't change any of the good its caused.

For defying UN resolutions requiring that Saddam provide evidence of the destruction of his WMD, for barring UN inspectors from his country, for being a state sponsor of terrorism, for killing your people, and for being a dictator, Saddam would be at the stop of my list

Kerry said the truth- why is this taken as an insult? What Bush said is inexcusable to say the least. So inappropriate and evil, especially because at the time it was so evident there weren't WMDs, never was and that was the main reason given to justify the war. Now any compassionate person wouldn't even think about making a joke of it, let alone the "commander in chief", the person who had the power of going to war or not. The man is vile and clearly not someone who was suitable for office.

Therefore, in his words, only the stupid and lazy join the military, because only the stupid and lazy are sent to Iraq. Not only patently ignorant but seriously demeaning to anyone in the military. He doesn't have to explicitly say troops are stupid for it to be communicated.

These are not intended to call grunts stupid but dose point of the fact that most of the military will follow order without question. And many realise there mistakes later in life.
