  • That was a simple yet very impressive joke. It was fricken trilingual! Anyway, I love Maya, I wish I could speak it fluently. What's a good source of text to learn the language for a beginner?

  • @ScarfaceJacket ...Try searching the web for Yucateco Mayan-Spanish web sites. Also, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC has a summer course and web pages.

  • A utz a wach la. (How are you? in K'iche). Very nice to find a Mayan language on youtube. Anyone know Ch'orti? Supposed to be my ancestral language and it is said to be close to Yucateco.

  • @RawbertDestruct fuk yeah dude mayan food is good like kibis, frijol con puerco, cochinita, panuchos, and everything else. when i go to euan for vacation i eat everything and always end up getting tirishta

  • @broncos429 Haha can't forget about salbutes man, kibis is lebanese food, there's lots of people in Merida with lebanese ancestry..

  • @broncos429 my bad how can i forget salbutes one of my favorites. and frijol colado and frijol kabash

  • Rice is chinese. They should be eating corn instead of rice.

  • Welcome to the globalization of our world! The guy on the right likes to eat at Subway.

  • wow that was cool. Were you really speaking mayan?it kind of sounded like spanish. sorry i dont know. But its interesting to see the mexicans or north or south native americans speak ther actual native language. You know instead of speaking just spanish, what the white people brangoever and pretty much took oever all of south america.

  • It is common to mix Spanish (or English) with a native language. When two cultures come together, they mix language, food, customs, religion and inventions. Constant change and exchange.....

  • Same in the Philippines, but with less Spanish.
