  • you are amazing)

  • in which we struggle with food is the degree in which our disorder has taken over our lives. If we could measure this disorder, we would be astonished of the depth in which it controls us. To give you an idea, go to the Babelgum

web site and search for the documentary "The Stockholm Solution" ..you will be ASTONISHED by the new discovery in eating disorder. It has made psychiatry obsolete!!. .

  • As I said the taxi driver is us! It is indeed a tragedy that the mere act of eating can be so devastating to our lives. We may not admit but we have -in varying degrees- an eating disorder, respectively. . To the degree

  • you're so awesome and inspiring! thank you :)

  • some are destined to catch on, some arent, its all about bursting out the bubble and for me personally, taking recreational drugs opened my bubble and gave me the flexible outlook to benefit from life's secrets, like i said, destination

  • and what we need to know is not so much about WHAT to eat but HOW to eat. It is truly astonishing that the mere ACT OF eating can devastate the lives of so many. While bulimia is extreme in the spectrum of eating disorders, we nevertheless fall somewhere in between. The swedish scientist said that these sick young girls are "learning to eat again" which carries with it profound psychological significance that mainstream psychiatry knows nothing of. we ALL need to learn to eat again

  • they said, respectively, "I don't know. ..something clicked in my head"....

"I can't explain it" said another.

These scientists have proven that their treatments works for bulimia and anorexia but the psychiatric community ignores it. while it's obvious that most people are not that sick, nevertheless, we carry with us -in varying degrees- an eating disorder that no amount of advice or reading can cure. I truly admire your concern and care but there is more we still need to know...

  • of billions spent on nutrition and self help books, of doctors telling us time and time again that exercise is essential yet we don't eat or exercise right?

it seems to me that we are missing something, a kind of knowledge outside our experience and is not privy to the intellect or the rational mind.

When I saw the documentary "The Stockholm Solution" the two swedish scientist

tapped into it when it was asked by the 3 young girls in eating disorder treatment, how did the treatment work?

  • I didn't get your name in the beginning....in reference to the taxi driver, who was setting himself up for disaster, well he's among millions who do very much the same-myself included. When you said that " there is always something blocking him -and us- from eating right, I believe it is here that reason, common sense, encouragment, and all the knowledge on eating right has reached its end.

Why is it that after decades of diet and exercise programs...

  • Great vid, Natasha! Thank you. My parents and siblings think like that too. When I try to talk nutrition with them, they do not take it seriously, and believe processed foods and dairy give you nutrients. :( I just can't get through to them, so I totally hear ya

  • I'm a 15 year old guy. Can I do the Juice Fast?

  • Natasha... Great video! Feels like u were talking about me in there as well. Thanks 4 catching up with me in Phuket. Hope ur post Thailand Blues aren't too crazy. Mine were for a while but ur going back so it should be better 4 u. Changes are happening for me which is a good thing - I'll keep u updated on my progress. Thanks again, Ben xo

  • do you where make up?

  • Lately I have been thinking about what I am missing, but if I focus on things I have gained, I feel grateful to have found raw. I love going into a grocery store and going straight to the produce and not having to mess with the rest of the store. I haven't been at this weight since I was 21. I look better in my work clothes- less sloppy and more put together. I might do your 7 day challenge on the 23rd.

  • Doesn't this mean I can eat Sashimi or Sushi? Wait that's MEAT isn't it?

  • Great video.... im def. putting this in my favorites.

  • Amazing she speaks the truth people. Thank you for the wake up call

  • soooo truuuu !!! the focus should be on what to ADD to your life for a more healthy fun filled adventure !!!! great attitude !!!!

  • That's the problem I've always had with getting healthy... trying to cut back on things instead of just adding on healthy stuff.

  • you inspire me

  • thank you for the reminder

  • I'm one of those people. I even have a degree in home economics/nutrition. My obstacle is my social life. In order to have an active social life, we eat out far too much with friends. I try to pick the healthy options but we don't live in California (or somewhere else with raw restaurants Last night we went to a wedding. Nothing healthy there. Tomorrrow an anniversary dinner for my parents - same situation. Agh!

  • Do you have to go organic to do the juice fast?

  • Thanks for making this,I was sick for week and some stuff was going on but you read my mind :)

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with everything you have said...and i feel that for me the biggest hurdle is myself and how do i make the good foods for you taste like the bad foods we love....so i am trying to incorporate the good foods in there natural states and learn to love them....keep up the great work...

  • Thnk you so much! You must love what you do! It inspires me.

  • wow eye opening stuff

  • Good one Natasha!

  • You inspire me!

  • Welcome back home; great video and great suntan--I like the term "analysis paralysis" that one of the commenters made below.

  • I think it's important to think of health as a process. It won't and shouldn't happen over night. Start with baby steps. For me it started with walking more and having more home cooked meals rather than take out and after awhile I found take out didn't appeal to me (or treat me) the same. I have since quit smoking and no longer drink alcohol. I eat a 80%/20% diet (80% being healthy), run, joined the gym and I'm 20lbs lighter. Change takes time, be patient and stick with it. It's so worth it.

  • Great points Natasha! Health may be more about what you don't eat than what you do eat, but long lasting changes are all about the healthy habits you ADD to your life. A diet rich in healthy foods contains little room for things that diminish health. As you demonstrate daily on your show, healthy foods are something to get excited about! I changed my family's diet radically very recently and the only time I get complaints is when I didn't substitute something better in for something I removed.

  • Thanks for this video! Awesome message, definitely inspired me to get on my game face :o)

  • I love your hair Natasha and welcome back to Canada !!!

  • Great message :] And you look so radiant
