Totally fake... this for sure wasn't made in 1996. Duke Nukem 3D came out in 1996, you can't tell me that you released/made this around the same time. This is more like made in 2005 or 2006. In fact, I doubt this engine is made by you.
Hi cadabraa - DirectX had reached v 3.0 by 1996, and was by then shipping with Direct3D 4.0 There is nothing fancy about the rendering, just shaded textured polys. The physics engine underneath was started in late 1994 & ran entirely in fixed point. The collision environment is very simple by todays standards though - the biggest reason it never made it into a game. Once in a real gaming environment, it really chugged, and it was quickly outclassed by the emergence of middleware.
can you please put a link to this in the description or is it a disk? thx i would appreciate it very much!!

I don't really think anyone can call this fail. This was made in 1996 ffs! And people who call this fail probably can't make it by themselves

MaiL0MaN3 4 years ago
It was prototyped on a PC - was never released commercially...

Bla997 3 years ago
This was made in 2000, not 1996. It wasn't possible to make this back in 1996 if this really runs on DirectX.

I assure you it isn't Havok - in fact the demo was written 4 years before Havok existed as a company (they began in 1999)...
sandyrgb 4 years ago
I'm sorry I was talking to JohnBeyer. Not the video ragdoll. The Physic System Source is using, Havok.
