There are countless reasons why women lose interest in sex. A lot are from hormonal changes. Most are 100% out of her control. She can seek treatment for this, but it can be costly and have side effects. It also might not work. This is a part of life. If she's wonderful and your marriage is good in other aspects and you're still considering divorce over the lack of sex, perhaps you should re-examine your ability to be a husband.

@cvzdez - I'm in a similar situation, I'm 35, we've been married for 41/2 years. My husband is a full-time student, I'm a teacher. He is sooo busy, and tired, stressed, etc. I am too, but on a more minor scale. We have it from time to time, but I miss it if we go too long. Nobody on TV and in society wants to talk about this - men not wanting or seeking it. Because men, of course, are supposed to be animals. Not true. Here's a tip, catch him in the morning, after a good sleep.

Ok it starts with women using sex to control the guy (Im upset so no sex, why dont you stay home, if you go i will be mad= no sex etc) So the Guy has needs so the logical conter is to Masturbate or cheat shrinking the womens control over him. Womens counter is to with hold sex longer until he begs. His move is to rely on other options more, the results is NO SEX.

@genericmeatunit I honestly didn't know that married parents with teenage children were meant to have sex. I'm 15 and my parents have a great (from what I see) relationship but never a single day in my life as long as I can remember have they closed their room door or indicated in any way a need for "private time". Must just be an American thing to have sex all the time :P
