I traded in my Cadillac CTS which I absolutely enjoyed driving for 3 years, and got the SRX (luxury) today. I am in love all over again! Cadillac for life!
wife fell in love with it; so we got it. I still prefer the Lexus Rx, but she liked the styling better. It's great on features and was well thought out (it's no Equinox). I think that they need to point out that what puts it on top is that it runs on regular fuel (30+ cents savings per gallon is definitely a plus). Overall, a better value than the Rx
i just picked one up pretty good the driving is way better then the last one interior it's all lighted you have a whole strobe and pure white led light all over awesome it has a AC in the GLOVE BOX to cool down ur soda =p sports mode it sounds AWESOME omg
OMg this looks like the equinox the inside is almost exatcly the same basically made by the same company GM mid as well getvthe equinox it's cheaper and way better on gas
Excellent move on GM part. It almost like GM is stricking back and it is doing an awesume job. I would never imagin having an American car on my short list but with what GM is putting out now, am sold. Am getting myself a Caddy now.

Can't wait for the new, 2011 Hyundai Tucson to hit the showrooms. That's going to be a shocker to most crossover makers, including GM, (mostly for it's quality vs price) but this car is heading to the right direction, I think. FWD and 2.8L Turbo was a smart idea. I also would of add the diesel option. To compete globally, GM had to make these steps. Forget about the guzzling, V8 powertrains, we are in 2009, Energy crysis, recession, Global warming, etc, but I guess those don't apply to the US.
poor move on cadillacs part. the old SRX was very underated; it had a wicked RWD sigma chassis, good engine options, and had a unique look to it, along with plenty of space. this new srx doesn't look bad per se, but by switching to a lower grade FWD platform shared with lower end GM offerings and cutting the v8 and even the 3.6 v6 they downgraded it as a whole.
the new standard 3.0 DI might make around 260 hp similar to the 3.6 PFI but it will have a weaker overall torque curve.
you're right...and the average person doesn't know or care about what platform their car rides on or the engine under the hood. I will say that the new SRX is very good in terms of design....wicked looking interior IMO
Better compete with its rivals? By switching to a FWD platform and taking away its V-8? The current SRX is excellent. All it needed was a more powerful V-8, direct-injection 3.6, a slightly wider body, and a more lavish interior.
I wonder if they'll add another SUV in the next few years.
wow, thar car has got plenty of space for some big shiny rims on it, the standart rims are at a decent size of 18' i believe, yet they look lost on that car, so that means something :D great car, hope a V8 will be added to the available engine set
I am pretty sure that all GM's nat asp DI engines do indeed run on standard fuel, unlike it's competition that require the pricier petrol. As far as the noted turbo 2.8, that will require prem, like all turbo's.

Ugly from inside out.

This is quite an ugly offering from Cadillac. The make way better looking vehicles. I notice the stylistic hints, but the execution is poor.
