Alright, I will tell you why I gave you a thumbs down.

1) The light streaks effect doesn't look organic, it looks still and 2 Dimensional

2) Get somebody to animate the camera, it makes the whole thing alot better.

3) The video cam or DV you're using has a pretty low resolution, so when you are doing close-up slow motion effect, I suggest you to record another clip of your hand's close-up movements in front the camera and instead of just zoom into the original video.

4) Lastly, be humble.

Not bad, but if you look at your particles, you can see that their motions are very jagged and not flowing at all. The edges are very rough and unrefined. If you add a "smooth(x,y)" expression, or a small "wiggle(x,y) expression", this will fix your problem and look much nicer.
