Again, thank you much, Joshua. I'm very happy you find my humble attempts at composing very satisfying. There is a better version on my page that has a soft, slow ending rather than one that sounds like it should conclude an entire three-movement concerto. This is more like a one-movement concert-piece. Once the other two movements are completed and up, then the soft version will become the "official" first movement. Keep in touch.
@CrusaderBeach Thank you much, Crusader. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have a newer version on my YouTube homepage that ends softly and tranquil, which is how I really wanted to end this movement. This fast, loud ending should really be reserved for the end of a three-movement work. I'm starting the second movement now and will "officially" retire this version in favor of the "slow-ending" one once the remaining movements are uploaded. Again, glad you enjoyed it.
@Micropianist Thanks for the good wishes, Micro, but it's not likely. This is lost amid a mountain of unknown piano concertos here on YT. I'm revising the 1st Piano Concerto now and will then start on the other movements.
Wonderful! I dare say this is a work that has neither beginning or end, we are more or less thrown in to a flourishing dramatic world and leave it in the same sense. And that makes a great impact indeed! At first the suspense main theme almost feels out of place, but when the recapitulation strikes it brings complete meaning and sense. Very romantic in it's nature. I can tell Rachmaninoff inluenced you. Also some very beautiful nostalgic parts - some pondering in between the drama.Great job Joe!

@JoeTownley It doesn't matter so much that most people won't hear this. We have, so.
