In 2008 I found out I had breast cancer and I thought OMG! I'm not going to let it kill me. In 2009 the cancer came back after treatments and it was another type of breast cancer where there are no cure and had moved to my lungs in 2010. I am still kicking and still getting treatments but I am ALIVE in 2011. It's a hard battle and still I fight for my right to live as I got my daughter's wedding coming this year. I need to be THERE for her.

I have had lots of people close to me be diagnosed with cancer. My Grandfather died from it, my mother had it, my neighbour had it, a classmate HAS it, an uncle had it, and I bet that I could go on. Please donate, and  help to fight against the disease which has taken and affected many lives. Thank you.

I do not mean to bloviate,but this whole rumor that donating money over the internet is not safe is completely false. Essentially, people who say such uneducated comments do not know a thing about security or how transactions are done over the web. Sure, it you go to some dopey website and freely give info you will be in trouble;however,if you are a smart surfer and make sure the page you are on is encrypted via SSL and or has an EV certificate,you will almost never be in dangerof identity theft

very moving video; however, i cant donate. although id like to and support the cause(i know some people with cancer, i do community service hours at a hospital) i dont give money over the internet. however, i do give all i can to the charities when i see them!

Very effective video. I'd be the first to give money to such a charity, but i'd never do it over the net. But don't get me wrong, i have 'ex-family members who have died from cancer' and i already give to two such charities. Cancer is a very personal matter to me, and for lots more as well. There is no disease that I know of that has tragically taken more fine people from this world. I hate no disease more than cancer. Many times, it remains hidden for months and then all of the sudden it becomes a terminal threat. Richard Feynman( an underrated physicist) and George Harrison both lost their loves to a brutal battle with cancer . My condolences to any one who has lost a loved one to cancer.
