It's more about the timing in general. The end of the song (3:15-3:50) is the climax and should have just alittle more UMPH and not just Seras fighting the random vampire with his shirt off. See what I'm saying? The AMV was pretty good up until that point.

@slimsephy I beg to differ with your comment on the ending to this. It was a good way to end as the panning up the building to rest on the moon gave a sense of finality, as the end of the song also gives a sense of finality so to me it was a good way to wrap up the video. But I suppose everyone has their own tastes etc. Now to the creator of this, I say job well done. It's a good video and song choice =]

Hi, thanks for your comments. The black flashes need pretty good timing (and patience) but are done by doing a fade in/out from black and using small clips (so less of a fade, more of a flash). Hope that helps :)

Thanks for your comment :) The flashes were mainly fade in/out from black (and really small clips) and this was on Windows Movie Maker 1.
