Thank you so much for uploading this version (IMHO no one gives Mozart the powerful and soulful interpretation like Marriner). My roomate from my youthful days had the CD. Man, weekend mornings started with the best B.C Hydroponic and this music. I haven't smoked weed in years...but this particular piece still makes my spirit to spread its wings and fly.
@superinfojunkie I agree with you that Marriner's interpretation of Mozart is absolutely excellent. I'm glad that you like it and also that this piece makes your spirit so free, Mozart's music is truly liberating ;)
@ggajdoss I had a devil of a time finding the Requiem conducted by Sir Neville Marriner, I finally was able to track down a release, and ordered the CD. I should be getting it any day now. Again with Mozart's Requiem I find that Marriner has the best "feel" for the tempo. I find some interpretations too fast or slow, Marriner's is pure epic. The producers of Amadeus - the film knew he could be the only choice. Thanks again.

Mozart is by far my favorite composer
And this is one of my favorites
I recently uploaded K466 played by Rudolf Serkin
Other pieces that give me goosebumps are symphony K183
and almost all the Magic Flute :-)
Quintet K581 and Serenade K361
But I might go on for much more than 500 characters
I recently purchased Mozart Edition (for only 109 euro) and I am still looking for something ugly :-)
