Presently, I have much more Clapton than Knopfler music. That will not last long...MK is a superior song writer, singer and guitar player. Thank God for MK and may he live long and continue to prosper with his stuff!!!

MK is the contemporary Strauss. A thousand years from now his music will be played and enjoyed. While we surf and cruise the universe

our kids will be listening to these songs.

The thing I like about MK is that he seems like a regular guy, down to earth, like he would actually have a conversation with ya. I imagine if you met EC, he would be a jerk, not give u the time of day. Just speculating!!

Well I do prefer Knopfler myself (Dire Straits are and always will be my favorite band!) but I prefer his music in general while I prefer Clapton mainly for his guitar playing so thought he was a better player.

He played this concert and he wasnt very well on the day...true pro! Went to see him a few days earlier at the shepherds bush empire - one word - Brillant! Knopfler is a legend!
