  • It shows why HS1 was so expensive - and late - compared to LGV - the tunnels. The UK always seems to find the most complicated and expensive way of doing things (Wembley stadium, Crossrail, HS2 etc...etc..)

  • Fantastic Video. What frame rate did you use?

  • I think this is from Brussels to London actually.

  • @bhavyful I agree it is from Brussels

  • nice!!!! America needs to get with the program!!

  • better to reduce the lapse ...

  • That was cool, Thanks for the posting....

  • notice how windy the track gets in england..

  • When this was filmed, did the train actually go nonstop? Doesn't it stop at Lille, Calais, Ashford, and Ebbsfleet?

  • @kinkisharyocoasters I think it was nonstop, most Eurostar trains goes non-stop...

  • That first part of the trip is not from Paris-Nord, but from Brussel-Zuid (Midi). The flyover at the start of the video carries the Eurostar/Thalys/TGV line (96N) over the other tracks, and the line continues to Halle, where it then becomes High Speed Line "L1". It runs to Lille, then ends just before Lille-Europe TGV.

  • Great Video. Been on that train a few times. Would like to see it at normal speed.

  • how long is it i mean in real time... ??

  • Great video.

  • Very nice video. I have traveled that line 3 times.

    Awesome choice of music.

  • @RODALCO2007 Thanks for your kind comment.

  • I can't wait to go in 1 and a half week man!! I wish time goes by fast

  • how lang is it travel from Paris to Londen ??

  • Ummm is there a raw version out there where we get to see the whole thing in real time?

  • Never realized it went that fast.

  • paris to london in 2 and a half minutes? FAKE!

  • @joshwashposh um ya it says time lapsed

  • @joshwashposh Troll!

  • why is the chunnel so dark???

  • This is a neat video! I also liked the background music.

  • This video should be marked as a risk to people with epilepsy as the way the timelapse runs makes it appear to flash and that puts people like me at risk of a seizure. But good attempt at a video.

  • Where did you found this music ? I searched her many times but I didn't her found.

    She's very beautiful.

  • @Pinku8482 try searching for "the Chase" incompetech

  • let me guess the english challel tunnel

  • 1:30 is that a thalys

  • @7544jeroen Thalys trains can't go through the Euro Tunnel

  • next time when i'm in london i will go to paris for a day - the travel time is only 2 hours and 10 minutes O_O

  • I'm a Yank and I made the Brussels to St. Pancras trip one time. Is there a long tunnel just before you pull into St. Pancras? I was trying to figure it out while watching the video. Tks. Great video!!

  • @ccolimon Yeah, there is a succession of tunnels in the last 10 minutes of that journey.

  • @ccolimon The long tunnel before St Pancras is beneath London. There is a station around 2:14 called Stratford International: station for the 2012 Olympics.

  • @ccolimon

the largest tunnels in London i believe!

  • @ccolimon My dad was in charge of safety testing all the concrete in that last tunnel. ;)

  • If this were stretched out to say, 8 minutes it would be a really good video.

The music is kind of creepy.

  • @soundseeker63 Creepy....and copyright free

  • Fantastic!

  • great video! thanks for uploading.

  • super

  • it´s in Brussels South/Midi where this video starts, not Paris Gare du Nord

  • @JohnRossRotterdam Many thanks, never was quite sure.

  • I wish it would take 2 and a half minutes

  • Excellent video I have the DVD (Blue Ray) of that which is good but a much longer and you need at least an hour and a half to watch it.

  • @MC2251 Cheers, still can't really work out from where it starts though...

  • Thank you for replying to my comment, by the way the train started at Brussles Midi.

  • @eurodestination The train starts at Brussels Midi and finishes at London St Pancras International.

  • how thy turn from left to right lane traffic?

  • @Cookienalah They don't, trains drive on the left in France and Belgium, so no need to swap sides.

  • I'm pretty sure this is BRUSSELS to London, no?

  • cool

  • hey good video!

  • Another piece of technical wizardry Gary...excellent end product 5* Bob

  • Just one question, how do you even do timelapse?? I have no idea, would like to know

  • @MrExplorer7 film it normally, then speed it up

  • Did you drive this train or did you bribe the driver to let you sit next to him?

You are such a great video maker

thanks and love from us all x

  • Oh money talks, money talks!

  • Hope you had a good trip Gary
