Rima resembles an Amazonian Native American with white hair in the SF series. It seems that DC decided to stay with this ethnic group for her, according to her article in Wikipedia. Actually it makes her more interesting than a female version of Tarzan...

I do remember this story, but not Rima. She certainly is a delightful surprise but I wonder why they didn't use Jana of the Jungle. Jana's Hanna-Barbera as well, isn't she?

@Goodiesfanful Its interesting you bring up JANA OF THE JUNGLE which premiered on NBC in 1978 a year after this episode. DC lost the rights to RIMA in 1980 but have it back now and she'll appear in the official DCU this year.

Rima appeared in 3 episodes total: FIRE w/Batman & Robin (her 1st appearance), RIVER OF DOOM and RETURN OF ATLANTIS. Why TPTB got rid of her is stupid!!
