Well, for those of you who explored the 'Behind the scenes' bits of portal, there is a computer with 'Beans and Milk' cartons surrounding it, which is a easter egg from an Asimov story called 'Escape' where a computer building a FLT drive that technically requires humans to 'die' for a second stuffs their food stores with nothing but milk and beans.

You will have to get to the Glados boss fight, and then noclip out of the room you are fighting her in, keep on flying until you see the parking lot, then just land in that room, the game won't end and you'll be able to explore to your hearts content. Just don't shoot the can of beans with the portal gun.

Because Valve knew that people would start noclipping into the ending to see the ''robot'' that drags you off, thus knowing that they would have to make the placeholder something that wouldn't draw attention, so they took beans instead... Why beans exactly i have no clue.

I guess they changed the ending to open up a better plot point for Portal 2. Since Chell just laying next to the remains of Glados wouldn't be a very good way to start of Portal 2. Also, i just found out that the box of beans was used as a placeholder for the robot that drags you.

Well, now Portal 2 has been announced, and everybody thinks it's over. But i may be completely wrong, but i know there's some Half-Life in all this. I think Gabe Newell is at least gonna tell us something about episode 3 and some more stuff about Portal 2 when he accepts the Game Developers Choices Award. Not sure but it seems to be leaning that way.

I mistook the SSTV scans for the morse code, my bad. IMO I think the morse code has to do with episode 3 and the SSTV images has to obviously be something about Portal. I hope Gabe doesn't disappoint.
