  • Absolutely awesome! I am NOT a techie AT ALL! I had to go back & firmly insert my ribbons after reading a comment about it. Thanks to that person for those comments! Easy - even for me! :-)

  • AWESOME! I just put together one phone out of two broken ones! I thought this stuff was not fixable! :-)

  • Great video! Easy to follow instructions. I would suggest that when you try to remove the bezel--start at the bottom. I started at the top and it removed the top compartment also (the grey plastic cover on the top).

    Great help...

  • Sprint phones do not have sim cards

  • Correct Sprint is NOT a GSM phone.

  • Thanks for video. Maybe it should also be pointed out that the battery and sim card need to be removed before starting proceedure. Also when fitting cable ribbon back in slots make sure they go all the way in to match indication line on ribbon. I didn't do this at first and so thought that the LCD was defective.....it wasn't just i was :-)

  • Thanks for this video, it helped me a lot when I accidentally lost a memory card into the housing of my Treo 750. (Don't ask, it was a silly thing to do... lol) I'd have been stuck without this, so thank you! :-)

  • Dude, I don't feel stupid anymore. I did the same thing!

  • do you know if you can flash a Sprint 755p with verizon firmware and activate it with Verizon? How about the "unbranded" Treos on ebay?

  • You can not re-flash a verizon to another carrier.

  • Thank you, DirectFix!!! This video helped me install the replacement screen you sold me, with incredibly little worry. Great phone customer service, too!

  • Thanks!

  • Which take apart is more similar to the Palm Treo 750; the 755 or 680? I didn't see a video for the 750 specifically.

  • The 755 video is about the same as the 750

  • Is the treo 680 similar enough to assume it would be the same as this?

And what screw driver size are you using?

    thanks

  • Check our other videos we have one for the 680.

  • It is a Torx Driver. You will need a T5 torx. We have them on our webpage at pdaparts dot com.

  • Do you need to put the tape back on that is holding the ribbon cables when you're reassembling it?

  • Sorry about that and Yes it does help to keep the ribbon attached if the connector was to fail for some reason.

  • Screens available for the Palm 755p and for 5% off your first order on our webpage pdaparts dot com use coupon code YOUTUBE at checkout for a limited time only.
