who ever said you will have the luxury of being driven around. Your on foot patrol and thats about it. It cost the government nothing and doesn't require fuel. THere aren't many petrol stations in afghanistan desert and army supplies are very scarce. THe army could make use of rigid wing hang gliders. Rgid wing hang glider would be quite useful in this terrain

guys if you blow it up it could signal the taliban to take up position so blowing shit up isnt always the best idea . i mean think about it the taliban arent complete dumbasses if it was a bomb they wouldnt leave a obviously if you see a car on the side of the word half destroyed it looks suspicious best to scan the area for explosives if anything and make a perimeter.

These are easy question. Usually, you're just suppose to call in EOD. Which sucks, because it's alot of waiting. If movement is necessary, THEN detour.

Blowing it up sounds ridiculous. Could be someone's normal car (they wouldn't like you for that i.e. hearts and minds) or it could alert the enemy to your presence. Detouring and patrols both have their dangers. If you detour you could hit an I.E.D or if you patrol, the car could be there to lure your men out into a waiting ambush so a patrol could be walking into a trap. If it were an option I'd suggest that you surveyed the area for any possible dangers i.e. enemy shooting positions.

Detore, and warn other troops in the area. Shooting would just give away your position and calling people in would but lifes ar risk when it could simply be detored. but you have to think what could be underground

If there were no civillians in the facility get to a safe distance and blow it up sending out a patroll in the open bad idea they'd have time to slot at least two of ur guys in the vehicals plenty of protection and firepower but it depends what kind of tour it is

depends what the mission is, if it was a patrol in force to flush out enemies then I would blow it up and reverse the ambush. if we were passing through then I would detour around it (further than in the video) to deny contact with the enemy. sending out a patrol would be a bad idea if there were potenshal enemys out there as that looks like a killzone and right now we hold the high ground. ok if someone was there then we may have to send out some guys to find out whats up but theres not.

id send out a 4 maned partoll 1 to look ahead for any traps 2 for looking around fro any enemys and 1 sniper looking in the distance in case they have a enemy scout :P

A cos if you detour around u might get hit by a IED and if you blow it up you might warn any of the taliban that are nearby to your location best thing about option A is you can get a better view of the situation and make better decisions depending on what situation pops up

i would send out a patrol. Check for command wire's going to the vehicle, in case its a VBIED and for hidden ambushes.
