  • the best! I'm inspired once again. thank you

  • @jcwishbone You are welcome. Thanks.

  • nice video! and a very nice song!

you can see that its a clone in one tiny spot, though: look at where the cables of character 2's headphones go, they just disappear on the right side of the bar ;)

still the only thing i noticed, GREAT JOB

hell, you're 52 years older, but better in video editing and you like the same kinda music as i do...

  • You are right about the headphone cable being the giveaway. I like doing the clones and other effects. I will try something different next time. Maybe run the cable on the ground. Thanks. I do like the old songs.

  • awesome video! .. song reminds me of some old school willie nelson!! .. ... like the night life .. good stuff!!

  • Thank you.

  • mr. Featureman, enjoyed this video, as always!

  • Interesting that you record the audio separately. I usually record it as I record video and then edit as I have to.

I still don't have Magix, so I use WMM. Magix seems to be a lot easier.

  • I do not use the audio recording of the first character for anything except the immediate playback for character two to listen to with the headphones. The audio is all done with the camera and the actual video is edited on another computer. I erase the audio track after I record character two. I am just using it like an MP3 recorder. If my cameras had headphone jacks I would use them for the playback of character one. Thanks.

  • OHHHH you're getting good at this!!!

  • Thanks.

  • Tom so that's how it's done

  • Yep. Actually on my Jokes clone videos I use a second camera to record the first character. The main camera keeps going and is never turned off as it records both characters and it is running while I change my shirt or jacket or hat and I rewind the second camera and play it back without earphones and react to it. I can't quite do that while I am singing loudly so I need the headphones. The video part is just a cropping. Thanks.

  • Nice tutorial :)

  • Thanks, Nate. I enjoy your musical videos and your video about your collection.

  • Nice tutorial. Clone effects are always fun. Sometimes difficult, but fun.

  • Thanks, Andy. I watched a clone video today that was well done. UGKisBack has a video called TK vs Alien Mask that is nice. I also liked some of the old 1930s movies where a clone effect was sometimes done with the old movie editors.

  • Great tutorial,Tom.

I wish I had watched this before doing my own self-collab video, but I think it came out pretty good.

    Alex.

  • Thanks, Raffa. I am glad to see you doing a lot of editing tricks with your videos. Your newest video is great. I look forward to two Raffas soon. Hugs.

  • Hey,Tom. You sent the reply message to the wrong person.

  • I know. The clones have me confused. That wasn't me. That was my clone who made the error.

  • Hey, Alex. I put the Raffa response at the wrong place. Your new video self collab with cloning is very realistic. It came out beautifully. There were three of us today who did self cloning collabs. If you get a chance watch UGKisBack with his TK VS Alien Mask video. It is the best of all the cloning one man videos I have yet watched.

  • Very nice, Tom! I will try to make a video with this effect soon! =)

And great job on the song too!! :)

    Hugs

  • Thanks, Raffa. Your newest video has some great scenes and editing. I am glad to see you using the editing tricks in your videos. I look forward to twin Raffas. Hugs.
