My question concerns medicare coverage following a settlement with an insurance company.

I was injuried when a car rearended me in Dec of 2009. I have since received medical care which was paid by the other person's insurance. I have now been released by my Dr for the rotator cuff surgery he performed. Will Medicare cover injury or illness to the shoulder that is not directly related to the accident in furture years?
