It seems a lot of Global Warming deniers have gotten on here to comment. Its ludicrous how uneducated Americans (and some other countries) can be on Global Warming. I've done research with scientists (I'm currently a physics major). I can tell you, even the most politically conservative scientists are worried about Global Warming. Many would be insulted if you'd ask them whether they think GW is real or not. Its like denying evolution, you have to be some kind of fundamentalist.

Unfortunately the average person does not believe in climate change... why? Because the cost will be put on us to pay for it. If you regulate the corporations, they will directly put the cost on us the consumer. So expect with any change, if they ever do anything substantial it will cost us. Taxes or Prices.

The U.S. doesnt want independent inspections of its emissions so I dont think this will happen anytime soon. Reason they wont join Kyoto.
