Just a random comment of what I started thinking about when I saw the video... I bought a video game. It wasn't compatible with my computer, so I took it back to the store. I could not get my money back because I might have taken it home and "copied" it onto a dvd. I've never taken a video game back until then, and I almost might not ever buy one again because of that... It sure is ridiculous how I could have someone come to my house and witness me NOT COPYING it, and I could not get a refund...
No, i used a home made stencil and spray fabric paint on this one, but I usually use brush on fabric paint. (The spray is more expensive and harder to work with.) Never tried silkscreen.
I took a printmaking class in highschool, doing a lot of silkscreens and I loved it. Unfortunately, probably something I'll never get to do again due to the expensive equipment. I made a shirt that says "peace is not a trend" in some bold font, i loved it.
Awesome words for a shirt. Yeah, the price of equipment is the reason I've never looked into silkscreening, though if you were doing it on any kind of large scale it would be the way to go.
I've been being lazy, but I promise the "how to" will come this week. I just have to think of something good to put on a shirt.
My favourite thing to do is take an old, raddy, stained t-shirt, stitch the holes, dye it black to cover any stains, and paint over any logos with my own design. Saves you from having to get a new one, or even a second hand one.
havent read the book and i dont feel like going into detail right now, but my opinion on this is when somebody has a problem with others getting wind of his ideas then he better keeps them in his head. knowledge, ideas, concepts need to be spread. technologies need to be used and developed, instead of confined. "intellectual property" is something that was made up so that it can be sold. it is not real. it doesnt exist.
You are such a thinker :) That book is awesome by the way. Clever idea with the shirt.

You sound like a Libertarian to me. So am I! You're in good company here. I however do believe in G-d, please don't hold that against me.

Well put. Seems like the pirate party stuff is mostly symbolic though. They'll never have enough clout to enact real change. Still, kudos to them.
