I do think the jumping at the camera at the end was a little out of the "documentary" feel of the movie, however i do think its a very creepy ending...i thought the riginal ending with the cops was boring and the alternate ending was good but i think i was have stuck with what they did. Over all though a very creepy movie, i bought it as soon as i saw it lol. Im not scared by movies anymore and i got chills a couple times in this one.

I might rent on dvd but I have seen clips of the endings and I had to back away from my screen. Ever since I saw The Ring I never be able to sit up close to the television screen again.

I couldn't hear him too well, but I agree with everything he said. People kept saying "O! It wasn't scary! It wasn't scary!" And ya, it wasn't that scary watching it, but like he said it was way scarier when you went home and went to bed that night. I don't care if you didn't think this movie was scary, because you aren't cool for not thinking it's scary if that's what it is

Ive saw this in theatres yesterday and it was 50/50 funny and scary for me. The part when she gets dragged and the ending was FUCKED up! but uh the only other endings ive seen are the one with the cops. I cant find the one where she slits her throat tho.

good review! i saw this movie about 2 hours ago but i was very dissapointed. it was so over hyped. it was not scary at all, pretty boring. i think more funny than scarry. the entire movie was so CLICHE. all the "scary parts" reminded me of stories you hear while sitting around the campfire.

I just got through watching this movie online and OMG that really is a WTF moment...I agree that the "alternate ending" should have been used...I would have been so awesome..i was watching the scene where she gets pulled out of her bed and down the hall and i had chills up my spine and started staring at my closet and even said "I will give you whatever you want just stay away" lol

I saw it the girl stands up and stares at the guy for an hour again. walks in the other room and starts to scream. The guy helps but they both start screaming and there is a minute of silence.The guy gets thrown at the camera. she is very bloody. crawls in him and sniffs him, then eats the camera. all this is in the bedroom.

yes the movie was definitely overhyped, but it was a truly scary film that leaves a lasting and frightening impression on your psyche

but hes an idiot because he contradicts, first he says its great, then he says its not all that great...then he says you should just wait to buy/rent it on DVD, then he tells people who haven't seen it to go catch it? WTF

For a 10,000 dollar budget film it was okay but it took me a while to get into and everything "Scary" was in the trailer so i saw it all coming...

I also agree with june076 that if she stared at the camera at the end till the battery died would've been a much more creepier ending.

I really enjoyed the movie. I jumped like 2 times lol

And the scenes where she just stands over the bed we're the creepiest parts of the movie imo.

Once I got home I looked up the alternate endings. Of the 3 endings I think the one with her friends and the cops would've been best.

Can't wait to see em on dvd

i thought for the ending she should of just looked into the camera and instead of morphing into the screen she should of just stared into it for a good couple seconds and then the battery of the camera runs out

I think they would have went with the best of all three endings. Where she throws Micah to the camera, then(insted of turning into the demon)she sits by the bed for 2 days striaght and the friend comes and she kills her. Then another day passes and the cops show up, and just before they can get upstairs she slits her throat infront of the camera. Then when the cops make it upstairs, you hear the demons footsteps and the door to the bedroom slams shut and the movie fades out.

Then a brief caption states that the entire recording of the happenings was confiscated by the police(the 4 officers who went into the house). And that all four of them were not harmed. They all watched the tape and refused to make any comments. But shortly after.......the 9 year old daughter of one of the police officers began to have strange things happening to her(nightmares, voices, shadows etc) and the movie ends.
