Loved this game as a kid in the 60s. A neighbor had it. Although there was a defect; one robot had a head that would stick and it was near impossible to knock his block off. I wonder if this was a fluke or a widespread manufacturer error.
"...and now look what's coming!" these guys are STILL in production! Check ebay or the old toy sales sites! challenge your pals! be the first on YOUR 'block' to get 'it' knocked OFF!!!
I'm going to be 53 next month and I'm STILL pissed my parents never let me have this toy when I was a kid. Loved the company's trademark sign-off: Rock-em Sock-em Robots...by MARX! Great Garloo...by MARX! Communist Manifesto...by MARX!!
@bregman1155 you didnt miss much like many of those games and toys back then they either didnt work like they were advertised or they broke with a month or so of opening the box. Very few of these toys lived up to the sales pitches on TV and in the catalogues.

I had this thing as a kid, but I preferred the "U-Fly-It" set. Closest thing to fight or flight sims we could get in the early 70's!
