  • i still thought it was a great movie, whether or not it was true to the original series. It can't be denied that it was well-executed.

  • @thewindsurfguy JJ knows his way around a camera I will give him that, but whe he says "it's hard to convince to watch somthig they think they already know" it says that he has no confidence in Trek and needs to change every thing possible to mak it newer and only have the min amount of names and elements to call it trek. enterprise tried to fit in cannon but forgot the just because it's trek doesn't meen it will be good, JJ was 180 of that

  • @thewindsurfguy It was, in fact, very poorly executed. A bare skeleton of a plot; no motive for most of the characters, who are, despite Abrams having THIRTY YEARS of canon to draw on, mere cardboard cutouts; numerous technical errors; and the ubiquitous, smothering "lens flare" that's been parodied on innumerable sites. In short, it was awful.

  • @graciehunterII while it was simple and not necessarily original, the characters were well-drawn in my opinion. They were developed well throughout the movie (though somewhat cliche) and the plot was actually rather interesting. To each his own, but I, as well as the majority of movie critics, thought it was very well put together. Rotten Tomatoes doesn't lie...

  • One of the best written things I've seen on the internet in years. I couldn't have said it better myself. Well done!

  • Best Hitler parody. Actually well thought out for once.

  • im jewish, but i agree with hitler on this one.

  • this was great-the best Hitler Parody yet. hats off to you guy.

  • I cringed and wretched just from watching the previews of the Star Trek movie. I didn't even try to watch it till it was streaming on Netflix. Even then when I started to watch it I got sick of it within the first ten minutes. Kirk depicted as an irresponsible thrill seeker. Bickering like a child when he first met Spock. Absolute trash. Abrams should be bitch slapped.

  • For a German it's hard to have fun with these "Hitler reacts" parodies because we understand the original language.

  • @SchmidtFilms86 I have a lot of fun despite understanding the original language.

  • I was disgusted with JJ Abram's' Star Trek. JJ Abrams replaced the sci-fi action with puerility and sleazy uniforms. He has created nothing short of an abomination and if you have watched any of the previous Star Trek films or any of the TV series, then you would notice the major difference.

  • I HATED THAT MOVIE! It is a abomination! Watch the series, or any other movie, and see the difference, it sucks! They went main steam!

  • Ha what's he saying? Star Trek has always been A-class television. Everybody just likes Star Wars and always gives in to bias. Just watch Star Trek: First Contact and you'll see what I mean

  • I actually liked the new "Star Trek." Did I agree with all the changes? No. But it paid due respect to the original series and did a good job setting up a new continuity. "TOS" remains the very best of the series, "The Wrath of Khan" the best movie, but J.J. Abrams is to be commended for making a film that does service to loyal fans of the classic show and films and also provides a good jumping on point for new viewers. It could never top the original, but for what it was, it was excellent.

  • The new star trek films turns the canon into nothing more than a fantasy that we have had to endure for this long. Perhaps, like those odd, failed, bond movies, it can be quietly dropped, as just a sideline. Maybe it was just an awful nightmare Captain Kirk dreamt, that he will wake up from?

  • @Pothila

fantasy? wrong. more like original timeline / a parallel universe. the original canon of course still exists in timeline no1. yes, the explanation for that in the movie is a bit short and confusing. if you wanna know the complete backstory, i'm afraid you have the read the prequel-comic named "countdown"

  • I liked Voyager so I guess this comment doesn't count.

  • This is the greatest Downfall parody ever. Bar none.

  • Never thought I'd say this, but I know exactly how Hitler feels. Actually, I can find something good in every ST series, but TOS is still the one and only and best in my (admittedly biased) world. You really haven't watched or understood the later incarnations until you truly get the original show, it all starts there. The inserted subtitle dialogue here is perfect for the dramatic action and shows a real passion for the subject. Excellent work!

  • I can not believe what I'm about to say but I agree with Hitler :D

  • I feel very uneasy agreeing with Hitler.

  • I am capable of forgetting that Abrams' star trek has nothing to do with canon except the abuse of some fancy words and famous names. But still it's easy to see that it isn't a good movie - its pathetically stupid.

Btw, I've never known that Hitler is such a TOS fan. He mostly rants about TNG (instead of new ST movie). I know i gonna end up in Dachau but i have to say that: TNG is much better show than TOS and J.-L. Picard is better captain than J.T.Kirk.

  • just saying, if you didn't religiously watch star trek, it was a good movie. Think of it as an AU if you must

  • With Abbrams Star trek became a typical popcorn movie: very nice picture and incredible stupid plot.

  • The effects in the new film left me cold. Scenes like Enterprise and Reliant facing eachother like in an old style western, or when Enterprise blew up in ST3, made me emotional. But with the new film, I didn't care about any of it, or the characters, only Bones and Spock. Even Simon Pegg didn't do anything for me as Scotty.

  • Your favourite show was Voyager!! Nobody cares what you think!!

Perfect sentence. DS9 was so much better.

  • I am a devoted fan to TOS.It's writing is phenomenal & kept us waiting each week 4 another episode. w/ this new movie, it brought new fans to ST. No kids today watch TOS b/c they see movies/tv w/ great visual effects. I defend the movie b/c it sort of needed a "star wars appeal" 4 kids 2 watch.what i mean by this is having that sense of combat, action, and quick pace in a movie. The show somewhat lacked that but is amazing to this day. I enjoyed the movie as a 21st century movie approach of ST

  • I love TNG, and I hope abrams dies painfully.

  • That was excellent!

  • Roddenberry Save Us! I too though JJ tried way to hard to make this like Star Wars... which is insane... why?

  • Your favorite show was voyager! No onecares what you thinkn!

  • The timeline was reddiculous. We need Bill Shatner to make it all better.

  • Picard laughs at this video.

  • Perfect!!

  • Sadly it isn't funny because I'm from swaziland... I understand what they're saying and this distracts me of the test below... sad things... Das war ein Befehl!!!!

  • Love TOS, love TNG. But this movie was complete and utter SHIT.

  • 2:18 HAHAAHAHAH I wonder why the CIA never accused them of supporting communism HAHA!!!

  • "cool like star wars kid's"? FUCK YOU

  • Don't have a go at Voyager fans, we hate this blasphemy as much as anyone.

  • The real test of who is the more pathetic fanbase (ST v SW):

which one has more peak-oil and anthropogenic global warming (AGW) deniers and think nuclear power is economical and safe and a "solution" to AGW.

That will prove which fanbase knows less about real science and real laws of thermodynamics.

  • @mphello neither show has a damn thing to do with science. They even still believe space battles would produce audible sounds.

they're really just fantasy. They're about we wish science could do this, we wish science could do that.

  • @kozmon0t I know, I know.

  • Man, is this right on target! The new ST movie is utter CRAP! JJ Abrams is an imbicile and the writing is moronic.

  • Loved the Stalin part, LOL.

  • What an utter waste of time it is to compare a different director's vision of the star trek universe to what it used to be. This movie didn't have the super-duper depth old school fans wanted but you know what? It was extremely entertaining and worth the watch. Kirk is a lot younger in the movie so obviously he's going to be more impulsive and not "the best of humanity". It's clear people grow into their character, or would you prefer a movie without characterization?

  • @Metalaseylypse

But the new one had a boring villian who didn't really have a good reason for why he did what he did. Sarek lacked Mark Lenard's charm, none of the props looked like they predated TOS (for example, all they had to do was stick satellite dishes on it to make it look "retro." Not nearly enough redshirts died even though the assault on Nero's ship would have allowed for it.

The only good points I can really give is that the cast was not terrible, but that doesn't save the plot.

  • fuck star trek lol

  • The new Star Trek is for people who didn't like the old Star Trek. I can see how the old school series fan would be pissed with what they grew up on being turned into this. I can respect it for what it originally was, even though I wasn't a fan of the original.

  • @Vomitore - Most fans do like it, fortunately.

  • Critica approval rating of Star Trek XI: 91%. I don't trust critics but they're right.

And I think what a lot of people are looking backwards, rather than forwards. Everything evolves. If you want to live in the 60's, that's fine, but XI was never designed to be that. It was something new, and even Shatner said it, just let it be what it is. And if the TOS fans are so damn backwards that they can't accept change, then, in the words of Stewie Griffin, I hope you all fucking die.

  • @DarkGodCthulhu

If you mean looking forward. As in appealing to the lowest common denominator. Then your right. Star Trek was supposed to be for people who had some intelligence.

  • Loved the James Cawley reference at 3:48 :)

  • Hitler is that annoying Fanboy who is never happy about anything.

  • I'm a TNG/DS9 fan and I would set phasers on mass murder for abrams! I HATE HATE HATE THAT IDIOT! I hated VOY but ENT wasn't that bad. Hitler is right, TOS fans are a dying breed. I'm not TOS hardcore, but havn't abandoned it completely since TNG and DS9 became my favorite series. Screw abrams. Screw him to death!

  • these videos aren't funny if you speak german :(

    lol

  • PERFECTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Totally agree with Hitler! But at 2:22 when he says TNG had no religion, no money, no social classes.....TOS didn't have those either, right?

  • Oh this is absolutely brilliant. I have tears in my eyes from laughing! Gold dust, dude! Thanks a ton!

  • I agreed with "Hitler" in this video, Abrams destroied Star Trek Traditions.

  • 2:18 is THE BEST PART!!! relates so much to the idelology of communism, everyone is equal, no poverty and they work to improve themselves and the rest of humanity, which is basicly what communism is... well if you follow it, anyways since anyone who tried to implement communism turned into a dictator who killed everyone.

  • What many people dont get is that the Star Trek movie by abram was Enjoyable full of action and it was a good movie.... but thats not what matters.. Sure it was a good movie but it was the soul of ST that mattered to real trekkies the Story was what made trekkies trekkies... and when abrham took his foot and shattered that story... a new breed of ST fans came back out... and the old breed died....

  • I would of been perfectly happy if when the new black hole was made in the movie they launched the warp core but it didnt work and they got sucked in with spock quoting cockrens words in the backround them flying into the blackhole "To bodly go where no one has gone before!" and someone it reset the entire timeline and it all got repaired then they could of made a ST 29 century serious... but now.... all thats left is a bridge where every light is shining right in ur eyes and a SW rip off...

  • roddenberry save us indeed. the new film is sensationalist and stands alone, it can only be said to vaguely resemble the original in highly superficial ways. it bears no message and no substance, nor does it preserve the k/s chemistry that made the show awesome. i am sad, but tos is forever in my heart and on my hard drive.

  • The movie was good. They explain how they are two different Kirk and how they both exist in the same universe. It's a different Kirk and different Spock etc. so they can have different characteristics. It meets the very definition of canon because it all flows together into one story. Would you say the Bizzaro world is not part of DC comics because Bizzaro Superman is not like Superman? Your observations seem to be based on your emotional involvement with the series - most illogical.

  • Perhaps its apt hardcore trekkers/trekkors can be so well depicted by Hitler :D The truest success is achieved despite lack of gifts. Is it really so hard to conceive of a disadvantaged Kirk overcoming and reversing the disadvantage to better character? These hardcore fans are fixated on detail and merchandise and miss the whole inclusive vision and celebration of individuality of star trek. Star Trek is not diminished by normal people likeing it but it is dishonoured by fascist Trekkors.

  • thank you for this one its good to know i wasn't the only one who hated this trash this much.I walked out for 10- 15 min to take a dump because it was more meaning full then the movie. the only reason i returned was i owed my friend for the ticket.

  • @666HulkSmash You should've just given him his money back, and say,"duuude...."

  • Kirk was always a faggot anyway. Someone that thinks he's hot shit and gets into bar fights? Yeah, actually that sounds about right. Picard is the best, anyone the says otherwise is a close minded nigger.

  • @seanThree16 damn! close minded nigger? that's the most ironic comment i've ever seen. I think it's going on my facebook.

  • @waldoman7 Hahaha, yeah. It sure is.

  • To quote James T Kirk; "Now, now, young minds, fresh ideas".

They were simply trying to reach a younger audience and remember one thing; the reality changed when the Romulans changed history. The new Kirk could never be the old Kirk because of different backgrounds even though they are in fact the same person. Thought the story was original and fun. Ok, it wasn't written by the best Star Trek writer (William Shatner) but it's an imperfect universe.

  • @Amharra You thought the story was original? Have you SEEN The Wrath of Khan? Come on... man sees his world destroyed and his wife killed, blames Starfleet, steals a superweapon, goes hunting the officer he blamed... does ANY of this sound familiar to you?

Hell, even TWoK wasn't particularly original but at least it owned up to its source material. The reboot's just a rip-off.

And oh yeah -- the villain has TIME TRAVEL but he doesn't think to save his wife and people? How dumb is that?

  • @Makkabee Yes. It sounds just like Star Trek:Nemesis.

    Oh, wait....

  • @Amharra Fresh ideas?! Show me a spot in this fecal movement that wasn't done a hundred times over in a hundred different Trek episodes, and I will buy you a Bud.

  • @rivmikant as a casual star trek fan but a devoted fan of good writing and stories with real messages, I must question your sanity. The new star trek is hardly even watchable as a mindless action flick. bored the hell out of me for the most part. The old series on the other hand is brilliant. It has it's flaws to be sure, but the point is in the groundbreaking(for the time) ideas and the moral/philosophical points that remain powerful and mind opening today.

  • @rivmikant This movie is actually a Star Wars flick with Star Trek nouns, exactly as they have said they intended it to be. You may like it and that’s fine, but the original Star Trek was the antithesis of Star Wars. Trek wasn’t a show about a fantasy universe. It was a story about us and complicated situations that applied to everyday life, and it didn’t adopt a simplistic viewpoint of good vs evil. NuTrek is about a frat-boy getting over-promoted, planets blowing up, and a ridiculous villain.

  • @OtterVomit It is also about putting a fresh coat of paint on the same tired plots, the same hackneyed cliches, the same sexist stereotypes, all of which paper over the re-treaded plot for FRICKIN' STAR TREK NEMESIS!

  • @OtterVomit "Star Trek was the antithesis of Star Wars." Trek came out before Star Wars... so it could never be its 'anti'

Plus the current movie wasn't 'good vs evil', Nero was insane. He came off more like a Batman villain.

I do view the Abrams film more like a Wars film than a Trek film though... it was the Episode 1 I wanted to see in 1999.

  • @RaPositivist Chronology has nothing to do with one thing being the antithesis of another.

  • @OtterVomit Really, "Trek" and "Wars" shouldn't be considered the "anti" of one another because they are simply two different things - Trek is science fiction and Wars is science fantasy. If anything, they should be considered complementary of one another. Trek is more based in history and Wars is more based in mythology.

  • @OtterVomit yup yup i googled it

  • @OtterVomit TO MANY BIG WORDS!!!!!! (head explodes)

  • @RaPositivist I agree with your point of view, but Antithesis means the opposite of something, so therefore your first argument is invalid.

  • @danielkronos Trek and Wars are not opposites. The argument stands.

  • @RaPositivist THIS argument stands, not your first one.

  • @danielkronos Whatever. The point of the first comment was that Trek was made 'without contamination' of the impending Star Wars film a decade later. Star Wars itself was a simple and fun tale of pirates in space and did not have themes that countered any of the main themes of Trek.

  • @rivmikant And shame on you too for helping to piss on the grave of a dead franchise. The lowest circle of Hell is for fans of the Abrams abomination.

  • @williamskidfears Luckily, like Gene Roddenberry, I don't believe in a hell. So I guess I'll continue liking this film with out shame.

  • @rivmikant Star Trek was Watchable before. Only you had to use your brain to enjoy it. And by the way Star Wars episode 1+2 sucked. I stop watching anything after Return of the Jedi.

  • Yeah damn that Abrams! He made Star Trek likeable and easy to watch! How dare he make our boring, done to death second rate TV material into a great film with a refreshing cast! DAMN IT ALL!

  • @martenRMIT Did you even WATCH ANY of the TV series or are just going on what people said about it? Compare the two directly before spouting sarcasm to try and sound smarmy.

  • @martenRMIT Instead, he took all that boring, done to death, second rate TV material, shat it out his ass, and called it a movie.

Just like every one of the TNG pieces of crap which came before it.

  • GET OFF ABRAMS BALLS YOUR FAVORITE SHOW WAS VOYAGER!!! XD NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK!

  • It's scary when I find myself agreeing with Hitler. Except for the homophobia...we gays know better than to think that Scientologist hack Abrams knows Trek.

  • @Hylas19 And, what would Scientology be without bad sci-fi "writers?" :-D

  • I liked it. It's probably because I'm not that big of a star trek fan, so i don't care about continuity.

  • ALL paramount cares about is to sell to tickets. FU** them!

  • Hitler, Adolf Hitler just summed up my feelings. Never thought I'd say that.

  • i cant believe these complaints. the whole point of the black hole time travel shit was so that they wouldnt have to please the unpleasable trekkie masses. even if they did their best to emulate the original traits of the original, there would still be fanatics who felt they did a bad job. basically they made a move to make it a standalone story

...and yet people are still whining about how it was different. it wasnt "Star Trek", but that doesnt mean it was bad. star wars prequels were just bad

  • @TheTruthHurts129

I agree that the trekkies need to get their shorts untangled regarding cannon, since it's not even in the same universe. Consider it to be like one of Marvel's "what if?" stories. it's just fun, not to be taken seriously.

However that doesn't change the fact that the movie was in fact absolute horseshit. Even if i'd never watched any Trek I'd have found it to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

  • @TheTruthHurts129 Yes it does. The truth hurts.

  • I thought the movie was good. I was never really interested in Star Trek until that movie came out. I didn't know that there are alot of people that have a problem with that movie.

  • Jesus I didn't know so many people had a problem with this movie.

  • @mikethe4th Yeah its fucking ridiculous man. Such a load of shit, they took a dead, shitty TV series and made a refreshing, solid franchise out of it. Like I just said, HOW DARE THEY!

  • @martenRMIT I loved that movie.

  • @martenRMIT No they didn't.

  • Even the worst Star trek movie is better than any Starwars nonsense :D

  • I have to say I agree with most of this, but I thought the bridge looked fantastic, minus the damnable lens flares.

  • LOFL - thanx man - this made me howl. Jar Jar Abrams really screwed the pooch on this one.

  • Wow. I loved the new movie and STILL thought this was an awesome hilarious video! And YES, all the post-original-trilogy SW movies DO suck testes! However, I thought Abrams did the ST transition RIGHT! There is ST backstory to support alternate history timelines, and obviously, many fans are good with that!

P.S. I LOVED the comment about Voyager! ROFL! And while I am not a DS9 or V'ger fan, I applaud those who are!!! And while I AM a TNG fan, I LOVED the frog and Stalin commentary! LIGHTEN UP!

  • The "reimagined" version was crap b/c the producers knew they'd make a ton of money no matter what garbage they put out. It was matter or name recognition. Any thing w/ Trek on it was guaranteed some return. It is called "high concept." So long as the audience easily understands what the movie is about, a good number of people will be guaranteed to watch it.

  • TOS is boring as shit and Kirk sucks ass regardless. Just saying.

    "Spaaaaaaahhhhhhk. Because it's therrrrrrre."

  • The new film was an abortion. It was hacked together out of Gene and Majel's worst nightmares for what Star Trek could become, if placed into network/Studio hands. The script is full of holes. The science...isn't. New blood and fresh ideas are one thing, completely destroying cannon on a power-trip is another. The writers sis not "get smart" on their material. The only saving grace was the performances by the actors.

  • @LangolierOfReason you present your case with such logic....are you really a vulcan?

  • The timeline has to be saved in the sequel. After that, new series.

  • Hilarious Hitler vid. New movie did kinda suck though, good movie, bad Star Trek movie. I do agree with holeeray about Bones though, whoever that was he did an excellent Mccoy. Being a fan of all the Star Trek series all I really have to say is STAR TREK NEEDS A NEW SERIES!

  • The new movie wasn't that bad, but it really did bastardize the franchise. However, Star Trek often veers itself into temporal paradoxes. I'm a fan of all the Treks (even Enterprise up until that first "evil alien alliance" arc) and don't really feel like the latest movie was that much of a disservice. Whoever played Bones did a pretty good job and outside of a few nitpickings about Spock's romance and whatnot, it was a fun flick.

  • @LangolierOfReason For the first time, Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans can agree on one thing: both of our beloved franchises were butchered and raped beyond belief for the sake of money and being "dark", "edgy", or "sexy". However, at least the Star Wars franchise is all in one universe. Paramount ripped ours away with the new Star Trek and Abrams/Kurtzman/Orci's jack-off session to their so-called "awesomeness".

And yes, Chris Pine really IS the new Jar Jar Binks.

  • @shinconvoy The difference is that Star Trek fans are hardly as united as Star Wars fans in that regard. There are plenty who saw Trek '09 as welcome addition to the series, myself included.

That said the video was hilarious.

  • @shinconvoy I thought Chris Pine did a great job of doing Kirk. The character was a bit iffy but he was brilliant in the Kobayashi Maru :D.

But yes I agree with you, ST09 is not Star Trek. Let's just agree it's not canon :P

  • TOS and DS9, all the way.

  • @LangolierOfReason

problem is george lucus raped his own story to get more money

  • @LangolierOfReason there is good reason to hate the sw prequels Check out the red letter media reviews I never realized how bad those movies were until i saw their reviews They shred the sequels and back it up with facts and analysis

  • Your favourite show was Voyager! No one cares what you think!!

  • I got a good laugh out of this and I actually enjoyed the film.

Also loved the Voyager diss you threw in there.

  • Comment removed

  • That movie had way too many coincidences. It's not like Chekov who just happened to work with Kirk just happened to be on a ship that just happened to land on Ceta Alpha V which just happens to be where Khan is and khan just happens to recognize Chekov while a doomsday device is conveniently being made. That crap never happened to old trek! Oh wait, oh.

  • Oh No!! Change!! Fuck off, it was old and stagnent. I like star trek and the new film

  • He says exactly what I think.

I hate JJ Abrams, because he killed Star trek

  • @msinvincible2000 Rick Berman killed Star Trek. All Abrams did was piss and shit on its grave.

  • Very Funny! U forgot to mention one thing that should have made Hitler Really flip out. The fact they DESTROYED vulcan. HE didn;t even mention that.

  • Please do one where Hitler finds out he is about to implode.

  • What Star Trek needs is a break. When TOS ended in 1969, TNG did not follow until 1987. This break left fans itching for a new series with a new cast, new crew, and a new storyline that followed the iconic Star Trek metaphore of exploring the human condition. We need that break now. No more remakes of classic Star Trek. No more breaking with cannon. Wait a few years, then make a new Star Trek TV series set in a post Voyager/DS9 time frame (b/c we all know ENT sucked targ balls)!

  • @UNLebanon That would've been plausible, since by then producers and writers who cared about the source material would've been onboard. But then again, when has the Hollywood machine cared about plausibility? In their minds, all that matters is sales figures and marketability. It's times like this I really wish J. Michael Straczynski and Peter David would team up to make their own Star Trek project.

  • What's wrong with bars? Who doesn't like a few drinks and a live band/DJ with the girlfriend in tow? C'mon. The kids are all at the nightclubs getting pushy with the bouncers. That's where you get your trouble.

  • I agree with Hitler but I like the new movie and voyager was awesome!

  • THE NEW MOVIE SUCKS

    TOS IS THE BEST

  • I like to think that the only this Abrams did right was his PRESERVATION of the canon. The events of hs movie for the most part all occur in an ALTERNATE timeline and not the one the real fans know and love.

  • Don't worry...I thought your costume looked very good... LMAO. This is so well done.

  • A bar fighting punk? Didn't Kirk get into brawls once an episode?

  • Hitler might sound a bit fanboyish about Kirk, but the fact is that in the Prime Star Trek universe, there is a grain of truth to it...

"Serious!? I was downright grim..." (Kirk on his time in the academy, TOS: Shore Leave).

This suggests that Kirk, at the academy, was less Tom Paris and more Harry Kim. Indeed, if you look at the game Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, if you look at the character of David Foster, he's very much what I've often thought Kirk would've been like at the academy.

  • Foster, in the game, takes what he does very seriously and does indeed extend into, "Serious? I was downright grim" territory at times. And yet, as Kirk probably was, during the simulator missions (which is where the game's actualy gameplay takes place) you can see glimmers of the sorts of bravery and heroism Kirk displayed on a weekly basis in TOS. Hell, Foster even modifies the Kobayashi Maru scenario so it's possible for him to win, just as Kirk did...

  • I absolutely love the character of James T. Kirk in TOS. He was a successful Captain of a Starship, yet he was most definitely Human; flawed and conflicted. And this imperfections in the face of his absolute excellence as a Starship commander made me idolised him. He was the best Captain for me above all others in the ST universe. I was therefore, truly disappointed with what he has been turned into in the new movie.

  • funny thing about this is, most people who hold the anti-tng view shown here actually like the movie. they grew up on the original series and diddn't understand any of it.

  • It's an alternate universe this is not the same Kirk, Spock, etc. It was better than any of the odd numbered Star Trek films...kind of ironic considering it was also an odd numbered Star Trek.

  • thee videos are so fcuking stupid

  • god that was funny--and hitler's right, that movie sucked balls

  • Basically here's my sentiment, if you don't like it don't watch it. There are people who enjoyed it for what it was worth. This is not the official Star Trek as we used to know it, this is an alternate timeline where Kirk didn't really have a great father to grow up with in the first place. Stick to your original canon if you want but don't ruin it just because Abrams changed the storyline. Some of us want to see the story continue you know.

  • If the new movie had all the original cast members, there wouldn't be a single complaint from any of you closed-minded fanboys. Get out of your mom's basement and stop bitching ffs.

I love Star Trek, been a fan of it for as long as I could remember, and I really liked this movie, it's a lot different and that's what makes it great. Lets face facts here, by the time Nemesis and Enterprise came out, the franchise as a whole had become unbelievably redundant. It was in need of a reinvention.

  • Well I have alwasy hated the Stra Trek franchise and I gotta say this movie surprised me in a godo way I really enjoyed it. Finally they made stra trek fun!

  • If I step back and just watch the movie for what it is I liked it but as soon as I step back into reality and realize this is Star-Trek I hate it. The characters just disgust me overall. The ship is just bogus as well.

So, I guess, I agree with Hitler on this one though I despised Enterprise as well because I have the books from 1974 (the year TOS went syndicated) and Enterprise is not true to what they should be using or doing.

  • i used to think the same thing. but then i saw wrath of khan and relized thaT that movie was JUST SO DEPRESING it made 2009 good. so there. MAN WAS STAR TREK 2 DEPPRESSING!

  • That was absolutely hilarious! I was rolling on the floor in laughter. To whoever put this together, you made my day. Thank you! Final note to everyone: Its Hollywood folks, and Hollywood is business. Stop taking it so seriously!

  • Hey hey! The new movie sucks indeed. But VOY and TNG pwn too. Notas much as TOS, no, but still they pwn.

  • the new movie rocks! no matter what all the naysayers say.

  • Jajaja Hitler is right, Abrams should be shot for his freak movie

  • I'm a TNG fan and I didn't think the new movie was Trek except cosmetically. Yeah they had the characters, and the uniforms, but it didn't have the soul of Trek. A fun summer flick, but not Trek.

  • I liked the Star Trek movie. It was entertaining. Is that not good enough? Alright so I'm just a TNG fan. I like Data. Pretty much the only reason I watch it. I only started watching it a couple of years ago too. Either way there's no reason to over react over any of this.

  • Only hardcore trek nerds didn't enjoy the new film.

Who cares what those basement dwellers think anyway.

  • @thesearcher stargate fanboy trolling i see,

either that or you wouldn't know true sci fi if it was forced up your anus

  • @MrXclio Sounds to me that the only fanboy here is you buddy.

It's hardly trolling when you state a fact, most movie goers enjoyed the new ST film, it's just nerds like you that can't let the past go who disliked it.

  • @thesearcher another fail reply from a clueless pleb, most movie goers are clueless idiots,

    much like you.

who just throw in some big explosions and entertain me don't worry about the story line.

and using the nerd line just shows you didn't put much thought into that comment.

at least i'm not a moronic pleb who laps this shit up without question.

  • @MrXclio Whatever you say dude. You keep getting bent out of shape over a Sci Fi and I'll continue to enjoy what looks to be a forthcoming awesome series of films.

You just keep dreaming of the day you leave your dull life behind and captain a starship of your own!

  • @thesearcher shows how much you know shit for brains. go masturbate over michael bay pictures while you watch his shitty transformer films.

awesome my ass, target for a moron generation like yourself, dumbed for your pleasure.

we don't want you to give you a brain hemorrhage thinking about the story. just look at the big explosions simpleton!! a shit for brains film made for shit for brains audience. like you pleb.
