The begining part of the theme reminded me og the begining of the Werner Bro's "Merry Melodies" cartoons with Porky Pig.

it's amazing what a few of years can do. leslie roberts looks younger on this vid than he does now, even though it's only been 3 and a half years.

Global Edmonton used this particular cut for one of its newscasts (can't remember which, probably 5pm or 5.30pm), and used the regular version of the theme for the other bulletins.
