  • Hi Titli

i luv ur videos...keep up the gud work.

    regards...frm India

  • Theshadyboy123 is right you should stop making jokes and just make food because this looks like some good food.

  • @iambpell Are who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't do?

  • @TitliNihaan

Just a suggestion, cool out there Chef.

  • looks amazing im going for shawarma tomorrow with a pal o mine, the place is called agagbi its located in oakville ontario the best shawarma ive had, although i havent tried yours hahah, but i have sampled many shawarma im so excited.

  • hey Titli :)

    how are you doing?

I've to tell you that i made shawerma just like the way you did and it was amazing :) my family really really liked it ,,

    thank you so much :)

    regards from Egypt <3

  • Oh and can you do a recipy for Aloo paratha?!

  • This should be in the diet section of your websight. I make it with lean meat and leave off the chips. (the desi in me also requires rice to be served)

  • אין כמו שווארמה!

  • thanx i like all ur videos ^_^

  • You sound like Mr. Herbert from family guy!

  • Ha ha your funny. thanks for another great recepie :)

  • in greece we eat pork shawarma but it isn't as spicy/aromatic as the arabic/israeli shawarma, we just put paprika, oregano and lemon on it i think. also, we lack your lovely pickles (although the word for pickle in greek comes from arabic, torshi) so we stuff our "gyros" with chips, tomato, onion and tzatziki if you're from the mainland or zingy strained yogurt if you're from crete.

nice recipe, i might try it sometime although i'm surrounded by delicious lebanese restaurant!

  • why is it that I never find your jokes funny

  • @TheShadyboy123 Because you don't have sense of humour?

  • @TitliNihaan

sorry my mistake what I meant was

"why is it that I never find your jokes not being funny"

    There I've rephrased it

  • @TheShadyboy123 That double-negative makes a big difference :-)

  • @TitliNihaan when r we going 2 see u making falafels, Ms.Titli?

  • Titli.... In a little ally, in the old town of Damascus, you'll find a small restaurant called Al-Siddiq, you also get to eat the best Shawarma in the world, they've been making and broiling shawarma for the past 60 years.

  • @MrNetEddie I'll take your word for it, but Syria isn't a country I feel like visiting right now!

  • Lol... Allspice has all spices including 11 herbs and spices and the stuff they put in SPAM... :D

  • @Armagrin Allspice is actually a berry...

  • u want good shawarma?

so u need to eat Shawarma in israel cuz there is the best!

  • @lizavino

It seems a little insulting for a colony of people to claim that their version of a food the Native Arabians eat is better. Very insulting indeed. Kind of like American people of German descent saying their fried bread is better than the Native American fried bread.

  • I love your recipes so much, Titli!

  • Sorry Titli , this isn't a shawarma. a shawarma literally translates to "roticery" , if it's on a roticery with a sheeps tail fat on either end its just called a chicken sandwich :). Not trolling but it's true.

  • @0RespectMyAuthority0 Yes, I know, but how many of us have a rotisserie in our kitchens? This is a way for people to emulate a schwarma at home if they don't have a Schwarma Shop round the corner from their home...

  • israeli shawarma ♥

  • I love your excitement thanks for teachin me how to say it and say it

  • i have everything except fenugreek and allspice. can i leave either or both of them out? Thanks! Love your channel

  • @sirpecky To make an allspice substitute you can mix equal parts of ground nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Otherwise just leave it out.

  • @TitliNihaan Shawarma is beef, and only beef... a chicken "Shawarma" is called a "Shish Taouk". Just letting you know, a good job otherwise on the videos! :)

  • @Maximus19792009 Nope :) a shawarma can be both beef and chicken.

  • id love to have you as my grandma.... also can you make some Christmas Fruit Cake?

  • i like the parts of the video when your head explodes

  • ja3abali shawerma....

  • yummy

  • Yum, thank you Titli!

  • grilled is better :P

  • This was fun to watch :D and highly educative for an amateur cheff ;)

  • These things are really really nice. Just made two. Yum yum yum! but the cutting meat really thin techinqiue is by far the best thing in this video. That just works brilliantly.

  • i like the way you were humming..hmm mm mm mm =D

  • LOL i love all her videos..so funny

  • People talk about tahini with yogurt like it's a crazy thing. I like tahini with yogurt

  • She look like Ms Doubtfire

  • Mrs. Doubtfire is making Shawarma.

  • I loved your video. So cool! Keep up the good cooking. The world needs a pick me up.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • lool she s awsome..

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • KEBAB!!!!!!! :D

  • Tim and Eric sent me here.

  • Crazy woman but cool tutorial :D

  • cant wait to make this! =)

  • @sonzybonzyfonzy me too! looks yummy :) along w/ her other recipes!

  • hahahahaahah cooool

  • Yogurt in shwarma? Yogurt in tahini? That's definitely not the Israeli way and Israelis make the best shwarma. Tahini is supposed to be just tahina, garlic, parsley, and water. That tahini looked as thick as hummus!

  • @TheBigLipowsky I see the words "Definitely", "Israelis make the best", "Supposed to"... I also see a Food Fascist and a Troll. NO place for people like you on my channel.

  • @TheBigLipowsky Israeli ??!! with all respect to Israel but its not Israeli its Palestinian ( Arabic )

  • @ehjail If you live in Gaza, maybe. Israeli is Israeli.

  • @TheBigLipowsky you know nothing about shawarmas then..

  • @TheBigLipowsky LOL. Two things; a, Israel can suck a rather large bag-o-dicks and b, how is an Israeli gonna describe THEIR method of making shawarma? That's like a guy from Wisconsin telling a Napoli native how to make spaghetti...

  • Israelis didn't invent shwarma

  • @TheBigLipowsky Owned.

  • @TheBigLipowsky LOL boy are you mistaken.....

  • You are simply ADORABLE especially when youre angry!

  • its good that the americans love the shawarma hahaha

  • I love arabic food, lebanease food (=.

  • LMFAO.

  • Salam Aleikum,

OHHH Yummy I have to try this at home. If God wills! Thank you Lovely Lady. :)

  • @TheSoulAndBeyond

i'm confused, why wouldn't god will it?

  • Very Nice.............

  • you are crazy like hell

  • vooov not bad....

  • what is TAHINI????help me plzzz

  • @rona2492 Sesame seed paste

  • @TitliNihaan i had tahini humus yesterday....om nom nom nom

  • @rona2492 sesame seed paste can be easily found in markets

  • @rona2492 cope طحينه and paste in google

  • tahini with yoghurt? otherwise looks real nice

  • wa alaikum as salaam

your voice reminds me of 'shaggy' from scooby doo! lol.

  • @chicharwali Rooby-rooby-roooooo!

  • hey going to make this for iftar on saturday, can i add some other ingredients to the marinade for the chicken, or is the one u used gna be just as flavourful, i was thinking of adding chaat masalas and other spices? would it work?

  • now im hungry! :D

  • Titli rules!! I love her recipes and methods. They make world cuisines accessible to all without being pedantic or patronising. You, Titli, are my culinary hero! Congrats ^_^

  • what is TAHINI????

  • @shariyaaaa its ground sessemee seed paste you can buy it from mediterranean shops

  • ''Anyone who knows anything about shawarma knows one thing, and that is, there is only one thing better than a shawarma, another shawarma''

    I LOVE YOU WOMAN!!!

  • always entertaining. I don't care what people said about you Titli. you're my favorite cook ever

  • are those frozen fries that you've bought? how could you ??

  • @shittywilly :-)

  • Titli, I bet you could make a successful comedian ;)

  • the whole recipe is wrong.....tahini sauce with chicken shawerma?? u serious? it is suppose to be garlic paste. The bread is not even middle eastern. It is a tortilla bread. U never add cucumbers with any kind of shawerma....oh lord u crazy white ppl gotta change everything

  • @soccergirl20k One day you will discover that there is a whole world out there which does everything differently to the way that you do...

  • @TitliNihaan

Than me? U sure just me? I am born and raised in the middle east and that's definitely not the right recipe. If u go anywhere in the middle east u know what I am talking abt but until then keep thinking ur making middle eastern food "your way". Salam!

  • @soccergirl20k Oh Lord, you crazy Middle Eastern's have to ruin the spelling of everything...

  • @soccergirl20k Give it a rest you silly old boot.

  • @TitliNihaan Honestly I agree with soccergirl about the recipe that it's different than ours. But anyway you mentioned that this is Shawarma the way YOU like it so she should have expected it to be different anyway . So there was no reason for soccergirl to write that comment. Thanks for the video.

  • @TitliNihaan How do you have the patience for these idiots? :0)

  • @shazmartina9797 Sometimes I don't :-)

  • @TitliNihaan I didn't mean you! I meant Soccergirl20k, although in hindsight, I was being a bit mean :0)

  • @soccergirl20k obviously the joy of cooking is lost on you...

  • @emikofatima Sorry. I accidentally clicked the *thumbs down* button. I meant thumbs up.

  • @ascano107 I'll compensate by clicking "thumbs up" :-)

  • @TitliNihaan thank you:)

  • your neighbours must feel so lucky!

  • Hey wheres the ghee??? LOL

  • i love ur channel u r so cute =D

  • is there a vegetarian shawarma?

  • @newventuresband It's easy to make an vegetarian shawarma, you simply don't use meat. Instead of meat you can use some beans, rice, and/or any kind of cabbage you like.

Just start of with cooking the rice, then add the beans and cabbage and some spices, until you have a nice mix instead of meat. Just be creative :)

  • @MadzieCat Thanks for the suggestion :-)

  • @TitliNihaan You're welcome :)

  • i like you...

  • hehe diffusion XD

  • حرام عليكي !!!

    دخــت وربــي

    I love it :D

    I miss my mom

  • Hahahahhahaha that was so funny!

  • LOL

  • This is only because "baharat" is different spices, to us "All the Spice", since you must make baharat. It's a simple mistranslation

  • LOVED this video, loved your rants, loved doing some positive trolling! I can't say S*******ma either lol. I also can't stand tahini, lol, so I do that cucumber yogurt stuff on gyros yumm! It also must be the desi in me, but I love S******ma on rice with the bread on the side, because how can you have dinner w/o rice :p <3

  • the funny thing about our supermarket shawarma is that it is pork.

  • page added to Favourites! :) thanks!

  • blasting head lol ad me as a friend on youtube haha lol

  • thanks titli

  • hello titli,

Your videos are wonderful. It will be great if you could please tell me whats tahini and where i can find it?

    Best

  • @enigma21able Tahini (tahina) is a paste made from ground-up sesame seeds. Some supermarkets sell it, but try and find an Asian store - they are sure to have it!

  • 0:57 LMFAO

  • nice work good lady

  • Its SHAWARMA! not Chiwama..

  • @NMHAJA LOL!

  • @NMHAJA I do not know a single non-Arab who can say that word proper, so chill! At least she trys, I stoped saying that word a long time ago!

  • this is da best recipie for a chkn shwma....it is a very easy recipie .....gd presentatn.

  • wow your pretty good , i apprciate your work

even though im from pakistan im wacthing your videos and learning how to cook

  • you sound like the geico lizard and its not a compliment

  • @Ally8pie Whether you meant it or not, I take it as a huge compliment :-)

  • like u so much more then ur food

    thanx for recipr

  • haha good on you mate

  • crazy old whore

  • @BurnTheLeaves Hey pot-head! Less of the "old" if you don't mind...

  • I saw a shwarma video of a shwarma being done exactly the way you did it. Ignore these people.

  • @BlackWolf4830 I saw a video saying Nazi's didn't exist that doesn't mean it's true...

  • @Kidwai03 Oh wow! But I thought... Oh, never mind.

  • Next time make a Shawrma with meet around a wheel, just to be a smartass. "Many people were complaining because I didn't have meat spinning around a wheel before marinating the meat. So watch me spin it around a wheel. WHEEEEE"

On an unrelated note, wouldn't camel shwarma be haraam?

  • @BlackWolf4830 A few people expect me to have all sorts of contraptions in my kitchen. A tandoor, a wood-burning oven for pizza, a charcoal grill for Turkish kebabs, a rotiserie for doner and schwarma, and a dirt patch in the middle of my kitchen in which can cook Kleftico. I just have the regular hob and oven. Oh, and my trusty chainsaw for boiling eggs.

On an unrelated answer, camel meat is usually considered halal.

  • @TitliNihaan I agree with you Titli, camel meat is almost always considered halal, but you are supposed to make wuzu after, unlike with other meats

I also love this point you make about your kitchen lol!

  • that was a great recipe..full of flavor...whats with the weird comments people, like seriously common...i don't know but i find her funny, entertaining and her recipes always turn out great for me...thanks so much for the video's...keep them easy, thats the best part.

  • with all those spices, its almost like a science

  • comedy show, not so much cooking.

  • is this woman real? like actually real? i can't believe it. lolll

  • All in all, Shawarma is the same, just because its not the same as your mommy made for you when you were a child, it is still delish.

  • People, people, people, same nationalities but different countries, cultures, generations = slight changes in receipes. A receipe "Cacik" pronounced "Jajik" is used as a snack dip in Dr. Oz's book "You on a Diet". He makes his w yogurt, we....Our family makes w american cottage cheese and cream cheese, dill and coriander for about 100 yrs. When you can't get same ingridients you change things. Dr. Oz is Turkish and Turks-Ottoman Empire ruled 500 yrs and spread same foods all over.

  • Hassle all my aikoom! Your shawarma 101 looks tasty.

  • I like em with black olives, pickled turnip and onions for the ultimate breathe and zing!

  • @pussymstrr *you're

  • just go to zankou chicken!

  • وعليكم السلام وشكراً على الوصفه الرائعه .. وننتظر جديدك

    ونصيح ان تتحجبي

  • @bukazi

^_^ جاان كتبتلها بالانجليزي عشاان تفهم عليك

  • om nom om nom om nom

  • it's looks like yummy i very like your reciep

  • it's the same as doner kebap, isn't it? who's the editor? (I'm sorry of my bad English, I'm German (:) you always do a great job. Your tips are very helpful (:

  • @deadlyvale I am the EDITOR. Sounds like an Arnold Schwarzenegger character,,,

  • @deadlyvale yeah...it's about the same as donair...some slight differences...but basically the same...meat...vegetables...sauce...spices...in a pita

  • Shawarma has become so popular that the very original recipe is not known. There are hundreds of variations of it in tens of different countries. But the base is still the same.

  • Seriously, you naysayers are missing the point entirely. She's showing us how to make these dishes in a simple way on purpose. The idea is that it's possible to cook these things using resources that are available to most people. Goodness, purists always trying to spoil the fun.

  • Oh my god this looks tasty. I'm not a fan of beef or lamb. I'm a real chicken and fish kind of gal. I like my döner kebabs with chicken but I've never had shoarma with chicken! I must try this.

Only difference would be that I'd make a thin garlic sauce and make my roll explode with lettuce.

Please excuse me while I go drool elsewhere.

  • There are altruistic people like Titli who take their time to do videos for us and they still get rude nasty comments. Titli uploaded a video a while ago where she put chorizo in a paella. I'm Spanish and have never eaten paella with chorizo, but why not?? I bet it's better with than without haha.

All I can say is there are lots of other recipes for Shawarma on the internet, look them up and stop being so picky. As far as I'm concerned, I can't wait to try this :D

  • its same than kebab!!!

  • Doe moeilijk.. koop gewoon bij de albertheijn.

  • what with your head blowing up

  • As informative as your video was, your recorder is giving out an annoying high pitch sound that probably only me and canines can hear..

  • I don't care if this is the "real" Shawarma or not as others say. This tastes great! I made it for a week straight. Thank you very much for all your videos. I'll be trying others. wa salaam.

  • Can you please tell what is tahini?

  • its funny how you say shawarma hhh..

but great job on making one.

    "Like"

  • @Clariigorawr LOL why would you hit a woman?

  • @TitliNihaan C'est vrai,on ne frappe jamais quelqu'un qui a des lunettes!

  • this is far from shawerma.
