  • hi there hannah -- iv`e really enjoyed your videos - you seem to have a very open, relaxed and enthusiastic smile in your eyes which is great for a teacher!!! --- wondering with curiosity ( as i`ve read sooo many debates on the subject ) if you have always practised hanon from early learning stages or whether you decided to begin using him at later stages? - i ask because much of the anti-hanon thought is that, if not used properly, hanon can be really detrimental and unmusical .

  • Thanks for this! That 4 and 5 finger excercise is quite handy, I'm not as flexible and powerful in those fingers as I'd like to be :( Do you have any other good Exercises for these fingers? I actually also use chinese baoding balls to practice control :)

  • Horowitz keeped his hands and fingers flat.

  • Awesome!

  • The Hanon studies in my opinion are more valuable than than the Czerny exercises. Very well played. Thank you for posting!

  • qwert poiuy :P

  • I usually don't post comments like this, but you are absolutely stunning. Fantastic playing as well.

  • @deadithink aw, shucks! Thanks :)

  • Great video! Thanks! This is the only Hanon related video I've seen so far that explains the wrist circles thing.

  • @jeranbrown1 Hey I made a video that just talks about wrist technique! If you go to my channel you'll find it, has an obvious title about piano wrists.
