  • @whatevr192 When did Occupy declare themselves a Marxist or Socialist movement?

  • @T662W379C oh man..i love the marxist brothers..especially groucho.

  • @drumphuk Why exactly did you post that as a response to me?

  • @fredneck4x4

How about criticizing the agenda of the Occupy movement rather than just throwing out insults like Occutard.

  • Very well edited. Good job guys.

  • Representative government is NOT democracy, it's Corrupt-Cronyism. Politicians, like actors are paid to show up and do as they are told while being convincing enough to elicit an emotional response. Whom ever is paying the most is who the system works for. Only when The*People have direct input as to HOW their money is spent, will there be a shift toward True Democracy. Individual Directed Capitalization 65% of YOUR TAX contribution directed to areas of funding of YOUR CHOICE Power 2 The*People.

  • whatev, its more like the 1% are fighting against the Constitution. Seems you enjoy being raped by bankers.

  • @whatevr192

so if we don't like something, the answer is to move to another country? You don't grasp the concept of freedom.

  • @PatriotsDomain It doesn't seem like the Marxists at Occupy American don't like freedom either, they're supporting socialism after all. And yes, if you don't like our economic system, why do you stay here?

  • @whatevr192

    1. they are NOT Marxists 2. because we want to change things.

  • If you can afford three meals a day you are in the top 15% of the wealthiest humans on earth. You guys are the 15% not the 99%.

  • The Occupy Movement is having an affect...most of America just can't feel it yet. If those in the power structure are talking about it, it's because they're nervous. OCCUPY IT ALL!!!!

  • Wow talk about trashing it up. We are such a ungrateful spoiled country does no one see that?! In other countries I see why they don't let ppl protest because human beings cannot peacefully protest y'all riot eventually like a lil child throwing a tantrum. If American wants more jobs I think more Americans like in this video should get educated and get into our government systems to make change. People can make change but not this way. I don't see it working

  • Keebler Fucking Elves I like that

  • FUCK the police soldier `~`

  • the Police is fucking solder of the monster .....

  • the Police is fucking solder of the monster .......wath can make for the USA Demokratie.

  • Germany Occupy fight for Free for all !!!!!!!!!!

  • Occupy will never die,

    so let the Government try.

    Our rights they will deny,

but we will not fall for their lie.

    Injustice the people will defy,

that is what it means to Occupy!

  • Keep up the sexual assaults. I can’t wait till someone pulls out a gun and shots one of you. That will end it.

  • @fredneck4x4 There aren't sexual assaults going on. Look up the REAL numbers instead of Breitbart's propaganda. Lol You want people to get shot? Fuck you, even if you don't agree with their position they have the right to protest what they believe. If you think that's something they should be able to do, then you aren't much of an American.

  • @Imover18bitchesFTW Face it you're a lazy bitch. I guess ABC lies too. The cops should beat more sense into you 99% Occutards. Time to buy more Ford stocks. The American dream making money and lots of it. You should buy a house but you can't because your worthless occutard piece of shit.

  • Amazing video! It really captures the efforts of the people who are trying to make a change for the better in this country.

  • good video. Thanks for uploading :]

  • 1:16 "Fuck this shit"

  • 8:09 "The 1% have 99 problems and this Bitch is one"

    LMAO

  • so this is what happens when we have 2 million psych and history majors with no chance of finding a real job ever

    gotcha

  • @bryanraleigh2

you got engineers, business, economics, etc there too. IT isn't just psych and history majors. This is happening to all of America's youth who went to university. Even listened to people like you and got "useful" degrees only to be under-employed because well its cheaper to hire some engineers in India. Anyway end your unrealistic world view, and come back to reality.

  • 11:44 theres someone in a pikachu suit XD

  • At least they are smarter than those Glenn Beck people.

  • great editing, don't share you political views but i love your videos =D

  • You keep busy with occupy. Soon we occupy you with nuclear jihad. Then you learn

  • I've been subscribed to your channel for quite some time.. this video didn't show up in my sub feed... Had no idea this was even posted till i saw it on tumblr... wonder why that is.

  • I think you all wasting your time.

    Manfred Laxy 10 January 2012

  • Lmao, Keebler Elves. Woman is funny as fuck.

  • I DONT GIVE A FUCK IF ITS THE KEEBLER FUCKING ELF

    <3 @ that woman

  • @TheFluffyDuck Yea, but the Dem/Repub are being bought by the same corporations and banks. I agree with you that, but it's difficult to win a game that's already been fixed.

  • Well of course, how else do you think they got that rich? It requires being a greedy immoral hypocrite , not to mention accepting government subsidies and then crying about the redistribution of wealth when you receive billions anually from taxpayers. But don't bring this up to them, because then your trying to start class warfare.

  • @xxbryan715xx

I'm pretty sure there not all unemployed. Actually if you paid attention the guy in the hard hat had just gotten off of work when he was being interveiwed. They are simply practicing there FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY, you sound like such a patriot, but I guess that is only when you support what someone is saying.

  • Ever work as a waiter? The first thing you would learn is this:

Rich people get VERY uptight when you bring them the check. Rich people are absolutely the WORST tippers.

Do you really believe rich people demand tax breaks because they are "job creators"? (Yeah, in China & India, maybe!) :D

Rich people don't like paying taxes for the same reason they don't like to tip. They are fugal.

  • @crazyunkle Please. Rich, poor, middle class all have good tippers and bad tippers. You obviously didn't work in restaurant for too long because servers get all kinds of happy if they see some well dressed people sitting at their table.

  • lol the unemployment rate is not going up because nne of these people have jobs and are just begging for things they have not earned. dont expect anything from other people in life. do it yourself. that was what this country was based on! not sitting down, giving up and begging the other working class for money. GET YOUR LAZY HIPPIE ASS'S OF THE GROUND AND GO JOB HUNTING. not that it would do anything because you are all useless idiots

  • unions destroyed my fuckin state you fuckin prick! @3:50

  • I agree with this message, but isn't it a tad self righteous to demand a job? Normally people get hired on the need for staff, which are qualified. Not simply the fact that people need money. Just my two cents.

  • This Beautiful! Seeing people from Cario, Madrid, Athens, to Zucotti Park and now Moscow, is really an emotion generator for me. I hope the day comes when the people of the world emancipate themselves from corporate hegemony. UP WITH THE PEOPLE 2012!!!

  • "I dont care if its the keebler f**king elves that come up with the solution to the problem"

-anonymous German citizen at a national socialist party rally in 1924

  • WAKE UP PPLXXTHE POLICE WERE ORIGNALLY CREATED TO PROTECT THE ELITE,,, HMMM, SOMETHING LIKE,,, THE BILDERBURG MOTHERFUCKERSXX:))))

  • @keepcalmandswag0n The effort was made in America exclusively and succeeded in America validating my point that protests can achieve the desired outcome.

  • @keepcalmandswag0n Civil protest ended segregation, gave rights to women and ended child labor. It's possible, it just has to be done right.

  • Never has a video made me so moved..

  • The news just stopped reporting on OWS. Hmmmm I wonder why?

  • @keepcalmandswag0n Abstaining from voting means the only the far right & left base vote which means the federal gov't gets more bipolar. That hardly sounds like a solution. I think you're missing the point. They're against predatory corporations. I don't remember Nikon crashed the economy. Golfing and skiing? Are you serious? Yes, that's a great idea. Buy into a caricature of the protesters and allow us to be further divided and conquered instead of all working together towards a solution.

  • @keepcalmandswag0n Be careful throwing stones... Do you use a computer or smart phone to post your comments? One doesn't have to be a homeless Luddite to know the system is broken and corrupt. The infrastructure of greed where workers and tax-payers are exploited and corporate executives keep an obscene share of profits for themselves must be regulated or dismantled. Good technology helped coordinate the Arab Spring and can help forward the Occupy movement as well...

  • @keepcalmandswag0n I think you're missing my point. When Ghandi protested there were boycotts, when Dr King protested there were boycotts. A protest has to have economic teeth to have an effect. In this modern era with multinationals that you can't boycott where is the economic consequence to come from? When most politicians are bought and paid for who do you elect?

  • @MrPlaid81 Boycotts were effective when products and services were local, but in this global economy where most goods come from China and most corporations are multinational conglomerates, we peons are powerless to stage meaningful boycotts. BUT we can fight back by living local: 1) put your money in a local bank or credit union; 2) buy seasonal food from stores and farmers markets; 3) buy books from local independent bookstores instead of Amazon; 4) support your local Occupy!

  • @jeannekyle Forgive me for being a naysayer, but those solutions seem marginal at best. I do have my money in a local bank, I do buy local, but I can't get everything I need to live on from the out of season Farmers Market or the limited supply local bookstore (we have 1 for the next 60 miles). Our far right commissioners rode in on the anti-Obama wave and the next election isn't for six years. I'm hard pressed to see any concrete expedient solutions.

  • I love this! Thank you for making this video! Major props guys!

  • Great new video guys! Congrats on expanding the team and continuing your influence!

  • Leni Riefenstahl would be proud.

  • Great video, but is marching and carrying signs really going to affect any kind of measurable change?

  • Not only is MICHAEL BLOOMBERG a UNION BUSTER, but he's the FORMER CLASSMATE of Osama bin Laden....

  • Thanks NLM. Good to see you again. Will share.

BTW-- hate the new YT format. Even though this was uploaded 4 days ago, it just showed up on my home page-- near the bottom. Course, I had to scroll through all the ones I've already watched and couldn't delete, and all the ones I don't care to watch, and couldn't delete. If anyone knows the secret handshake to delete vids from the home page, please share. Thanks.

  • I really like your projects like this, but I'm going to be honest and say that I was really hoping you'd go back to the interview format for Occupy. I've known too many people who don't know why they support OWS to not want to see that.

  • GREETINGS

    FROM

    OCCUPY

    ZURICH,

    SWITZERLAND!

    """

We will not give up, either!

  • The system isn't keeping anything out of harms way. Anyone who believes that is an absolute moron.

  • It's good to see a new video from NewLeftMedia, and from the UK it is very good to get an insider's look at the OWS protests. Keep up the good work.

  • Occupy ...? Ten Objectives ...!

  • Thanks for another great video. If you have not already subscribed, do so now!

  • I see alot of noise and alot of complaining and rightfully so. But protesting and tents isn't going to solve squat.

What is the solution? Ok, end corporate corruption, better wages and health care. Its nice you have an end goal but your missing the middle steps. So stop protesting and go get involved in the democrats/republicans and start making change from the inside. Write policy, get support run for president etc.

  • @TheFluffyDuck I actually like your "missing the middle steps" comment. It reminds me of The Office when Michael Scott said he would save the company in 45 days. He wanted to get input on the plan from other executives. So Michael starts the brainstorming with, "Day 45: Company saved. Day 44: Go! (asking for someone else to find the 'middle steps')." :-)

  • @EazyEVM Its almost as if the protestors want somebody else to fix their problems. Its better to have a cause without a protest, than a protest without a cause.

The utterance of REAL democracy as a bunch of loud people in the street does not work unless somebody steps up to write policy.

You can vote on policy or you can MAKE policy. Or you can be loud in the street and miss the point.

  • @TheFluffyDuck If you have some insight to share come down to the general assembly of your local occupy and put your two cents in the pot, cant find your local occupation; no worries. Just look for the people who give a damn and are trying something different, while the banks are busy buying up the democracy (citizen united) you follow like you would chase your next shiny bauble. Banks not to big to fail, just too rich to go to jail! Be the news rather than watching it.

  • the general strike of Oakland was one of the biggest disgraces this movement had....good job costing your city over $4 million, god job hurting members of the 99%. IDIOTS this movement. you dont represent me, i am the 99%

  • THIS is the coverage this movement needs. THIS is the voice.

If you turn on MSNBC, you see pepper spray and police brutality.

Fox News?? Tiny segment on a couple of hippies gathering in a park.

The reason this movement has no voice, is because MSM has GIVEN IT NO VOICE. Every man and woman there knows their purpose, knows what's wrong.

There is no fearless leader on the major news channels-- because WE ARE THE PEOPLE. And our leaders have betrayed us one too many times.

  • 20 brainwashed morons clicked dislike.

  • As always great job Chase!!

  • Aren't we already occupying America?

  • Brilliant video :)

  • Everyone should watch "Inside Job." It's a very well made movie that makes it easier to understand why our country is in so much economical trouble right now. The problem is that the same people that are profiting millions of dollars on wall street for corrupt tactics are the ones still running our financial advising a committees in the government.

  • i like how well put together these videos are; kudos to the editors and photographers

  • 19 people are the 1%

  • Chase and Erick, this is great! Best video on Occupy yet!

  • The flooding of Oscar Grant plaza is so hypocritcal! Mayor Quan, your 'leadership' is a joke!

  • Reason And common sense should be the law

  • Once Sopa passes this will be taken of the air for

it's breaking the copyrights of the pigeons

  • Great video... I had not heard of the sprinkler tactic before. What a disgrace to basic human rights! If there is no public space anymore then does the public exist anymore?

  • First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

    Mohandas Gandhi

  • Awesome work. +100 life experience points to all three of you.

    Occupy Everywhere

    How Many months till spring....?

  • Another great vid brought to you by newleftmedia. Mahalo's from Maui, Hawaii!

  • God be with those who seek justice.

  • bet that park maintenance guy thinks he's a hero for running the sprinklers and flooding the park. someone should prosecute that treasonous scumbag and throw him in the slammer.

  • Keep up the great work. Thanks for providing the video that we don't see on mainstream media. Citizens now need to provide the media since our mainstream media is controlled by the very few. Protecting the internet and freedom of speech is more crucial now then ever and the movement needs others to provide a real outlet for media and accountablility. The cameras are our weapons and all of us together is our power. Together we can spread the message of economic justice. CheckVidsfromOWC

  • Bravo. We miss you, New Left Media! Please do more on the Occupy movement and other issues of concern to the 99%.

  • So, you're horrified at how the cops treat you (rightly so), but then you say, "tax the rich"...

How do you think income taxes are collected if you don't want to pay?

You also say, end the wars, but you also want to raise taxes.

Letting the government levy taxes is what allows it to become monstrously big and fund terrible things like war.

How about we end the wars, and abolish the income tax? Compromise?

  • Love this video!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOVE THESE HEROES!!!

  • The greatest thing this movement is creating is the love for the suffering fellow Americans who have been cast down by the big banks and assorted industries hurting this society...it's lights out for them unless they start growing a heart. Can we change over the poachers of our natural world while were at it? Bonus.

  • They disperse but the numbers resurge and grow....Bush wanted a surge, he made one alright.

    Power to the people.....period.

  • I don't understand why the sudden uproar. First off, the Occupy movement doesn't even have any unanimous clear goals. Second, the protesters were given a temporary protest license, which expired. When the protesters remained and would not reasonably relocate PER THE LAW, what did you expect? The police had to remove people that were illegally protesting.

  • AH! I've been waiting for NewLeftMedia to FINALLY cover this. Its amazing to how intelligent and how absolutely inspiring these occupiers are, especially in comparison to the tea-party and Jon Stewart authoritarian liberal dumbasses.

  • Excellent video - solidarity!

  • The cops are just doing their job but some of the stuff they do is extreme

  • @johndaniels1234 Some of these cops really hate and they stand out I.E.the Blue meanies of Pepperland...

  • The disgusting actions of these police forces is how 6 million Jews wound up in ovens. Just obeying orders. Sick! They make we want to vomit! The people are fighting for you half-wits. Drop your guns and join the march.

  • @WDux It could become that bad if we let them.....indeed.

  • NLM, it's been a while. good to have you back.

  • What brilliant citizens, this is the essence of democracy!

  • Wow this is the best thing to happen to America in decades. Great journalism guys.

  • we must all have as manny kids as we can..multiply our numbers....ensure our victory. with the next generation of enlightened, aware citizens. patience.. we have already won

  • @bart666a dude we will starve and then they still win.

  • @PitBullsBiteHard but then you probably like that idea idk

  • @bart666a We have won but this is a newer prize to keep our eyes on and to keep it going despite their tearing every encampment down....blessin's.

  • Thanks for posting. KEEP IT GOING!

  • @tekwaro Amen.

  • Great video. I just love it I like the part when the police open the barracades!

  • Gorgeous video! Really amazing (and nice to see NLM back). As a member and organizer in Occupy Phoenix, I really appreciated the footage of Occupy Cincinnati-- while Phoenix is a large city, our occupation is fairly small because of the strength of the police force and the fear they can engender. Sometimes it can feel like there are just a few of us and "gee, what ARE we doing?" but the points made about awareness were very inspiring. THANKS and keep doing what you do!

  • I wish I went to Occupy Philly. This is a great movement. This is a democracy after all.

  • THIS IS WHAT ANARCHY LOOKS LIKE

  • I think if taxes were at 90% poor americans still wouldnt see much of it, there are many countries with taxes about the same as america that have health care and decent education.

  • Why don't they just start a new political party?

They should just say: "fuck the bipartisan system".

Untill they do so they just come off as pathetic kids who want others to change stuff for them.

    Change it yourself.

  • @ThomasRhdc Because they want to change the system and its structures. Starting a new political party just feeds into the old one.

  • @JMLizardKing1971 Where do you suggest we look?

  • @stinanina07 thats not my decision, go to college get a degree and look for a job in the industry that you choose.....

  • @stinanina07 I have a college degree, thanks. And I'm not unemployed. I'm trying to make a point, which it seems you didn't get.

  • @stinanina07 what is your point then? hahah

  • @JMLizardKing1971 ignorant prick.

  • @JMLizardKing1971 "omg you're so fucking pathetic damn conservative instead of sitting at your computer you should sit down and have a decent conversation with a liberal (or rather an occupier -- which aren't synonymous, by the way -- since that's the actual issue here).... get off your high horse and make the effort to see someone else's point of view instead of assuming they're lazy and/or unemployed!!!"

I'm sorry, it was unfair for me to assume those things about you...

  • @Bonenfancy i value all your opinions and am objective about this topic i just firmily believe that these protests are regressive and will not result in any economical developement. sorry if anything i said was offensive lol just trying to state my opinion.

  • @JMLizardKing1971 Good! I'm glad you do, I value yours too, I just wanted to make the point to show how you were coming off. And for the record, "just trying to state my opinion" is the boiled-down version of what the occupiers are doing -- they're not enacting legislative change, but they are stating the hell out of their opinion.

  • We need nuclear power.beaches!!!!

  • post and repost - before they start censoring us!

  • Make your own Change. Be your own Hope.

  • "SHOW ME WHAT REAL JOURNALISM LOOKS LIKE"

    (sorry if it doesn't flow)

  • Glad to see you guys back at it.

  • Was worth the wait :)

  • Let's get the money out of politics, folks. This should be THE number one issue in America right now. If we can restore our representation we can fix anything.

  • Thanks for not asking them stupid questions like you did at the Rally for Sanity.

  • checkout my channel ppl

  • Everyone post this on your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, whatever the fuck you use. Right now.

  • Stealing at the barrel of the gun will not solve the fundamental problem with our society and our governments. As long as the initiation of force is deemed to be a legitimate right of a portion of the population, we will continue to decline as a society, a species, a planet.

  • Happy to see you two back in action...great coverage!

  • I wonder how much longer we can remain peaceful before we may have to start pushing the limits of these laws that are made to protect corporate criminals?

  • Tumblr has found you.

  • No reason to feel sorry for these losers. There are billions of people starving, meanwhile OWS folk are tweeting and taking pics with their ipads and iphones. Plenty of jobs out there, Occupiers are just too lazy to go and get em...

  • @p4ul1z Jobs? Where? And yes, how dare people with iPads and iPhones sympathize with a movement to make sure that everyone in America can afford to also buy iPads and iPhones if they want to.

  • @stinanina07 The protesters have higher standards of living than over 60% of the world. No need to feel sorry for the protesters. I feel sorry for the hard workers that are going bankrupt, because OWS protesters are blocking the streets and damaging private property. Moreover, NYC is already bankrupt, OWS is creating tougher times for the New Yorkers, because someone has to pay the cops overtime and someone has to pay the sanitation workers cleaning the mess of OWS.

  • @p4ul1z Haha, you really have no clue what the movement is about do you? The cops doesn't need to be there just as they didn't need to be at Woodstock, because the protestors aren't violent.

  • @p4ul1z "Plenty of jobs out there" hahahaha really?! God that's the part where people like you say "Mcdonalds is always hiring!" There aren't "plenty of jobs out there" dumbass.

  • @politico92 Picking crops in Alabama can make you $300 a day.Nobodys flipping burgers in mcd's for 30 years, It's better than to just sit on your thumb and wait for a handout. Don't expect anything from your life if you're taking a 200k loan for a degree in art history. Visit a 3rd world country and you'll know you have nothing to bitch about. Most of the "1%" worked their asses off to get 2 their position anyway.

  • @p4ul1z Do you have any statistics or proof of that or did you just made it up?

  • @p4ul1z I don't care how hard they worked to get to their position. They can make a lot of money A LOT but when they start cheating the system and commiting fraud and NO rules seem to apply to them like they do to the rest of us then there's a problem. Are there jobs available? Yes, are there plenty or even enough? NO. Read a book on the economic crisis, you'll see how our government in conjunction with the big banks fucked the american taxpayer.

  • First I want it known that I am an Occupy sympathizer, but as I'm surrounded by Occupy-hating right-wing types in Colorado Springs (where we had our own humble Occupy protest), I want to see some clarification between the camps (by which I mean pro-Occupy/anti-Occupy).

So help me understand: no matter how "peacefully", isn't locking arms against cops a "failure to disperse" if ordered to? Trying to understand the legality of the police's force and what actually constitutes "peaceful"...

  • @Bonenfancy Yes, it's "failure to disperse," and therefore these individuals should be cited accordingly and potentially arrested. It's a threat these people probably knowingly and willingly accept. Pepper spray? Rubber bullets? Not so much.

  • @stinanina07 What then is the appropriate legal course for the police to take if they're MO is to remove protesters from a given area and the protesters refuse? At what point does their refusal warrant that kind of force?

  • @Bonenfancy Someone recently pointed out to me that pepper spray is not less-than-lethal force, it is simply less-lethal force, because people still die from it. There is no need to beat, maim or otherwise harm peaceful protesters. Hand out citations, haul 'em to their feet and cuff them, or drag them away if need be. Anything else, when not confronted with VIOLENCE on the part of protesters, is not only wrong, it's ILLEGAL.

  • Excellent Chase and Eric, as always, so glad to see you again!

  • Welcome back into the fold friends, It's been far to long....

  • The only viable solution? DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REVOLUTION

  • 10:18 The first officer looks so much like John Pike of UC Davis pepper spray fame. He
