  • I saw Helix at the Concert Hall in Toronto in 83 for their "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" album tour (if I remember correctly they were backing up Motorhead). I was already a fan, but that show was one of the best energetic rocking shows I've ever seen an entry band do (and I've seen many growing in Toronto). I was privileged to have seen them in their early days in a smaller venue. True rockers!

  • brian Vollmer is one of the true rock and roll voices of the past century. i feel so good having seenn him in Finland in the late 80's. those days, and today the canadians were the true rockers. Triumph Rush and Dwarfs all the way.

  • If you don't know Helix you've missed out on a great show.Copy and paste this code into YouTube's search bar.

  • HAHA! Rob your the shit homie! D

  • Great band, great wife.

I saw Helix in Alrosa villa in 1983 shorty before I returned to live in Germany and work as a civilian on aircraft. When I got back, there were posters everywhere you went with KISS playing and Helix opening. After talking to them at Columbus for a while we left friends. In Germany he freaked out seeing me there in the same spot as in Columbus. I showed him a sign. They came over and gave me passes for after the show. I met with them AND KISS. Great music w/Helix.

  • Cool story. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
