nah they lost when their leaders Dooku and Grievous were killed. These were the masterminds behind the CIS and were technically winning until their deaths, then it was only a matter of time.

Nute Gunray and the rest of the CIS council were to retarted to lead the war and so they failed.

Clone troopers were superior to the droids, and they were definatley not losing. Even with Griveous and Dooku, the Clones had chased the separatist forces to the outer rim of the galaxy. palpatin merely chose the winning side, as his plan had always been.

The separatists already were winning and the droids had the advantage as always because they had numbers -.-, Clones would take years to train and have a full army to counter droids but then again Droids can be made within hours in a factory, and like any droid it can be installed with veteran modules so they can be more advanced
