141 km/hr my ass. The top speed in the world cup downhill I watched the other day was about 128 km/hr and those are the world's best skiing on ice. The most amazing this about this video is the snowboarders made it from top to bottom without have to stop and sit down somewhere on the mountain. I didn't know that was possible.

Dude, you can get going really fast man. 87 mph is not unrealistic. It might be at a place like Mt high, CA because that is a hill and not a mountain. If you go to Mammoth, CA and just point (and some do) then you can go over 50 60 easy. Pros go faster than this. To reach 140Kph you need a very stable/long board, very good snow conTry oin your car, at 140kph... it's scaring... ;)
The reason your board starts shaking at high speed is because Neversummer boards are built for speed. Carbon fiber stringers, sintered bases etc.I wouldnt try it on a lesser board.
oh and one more thing, like cool speeds and everything. but why are you standing up and not crouching. aerodynamics are key in high speed. i have a huge down jacket but if you know where to put your arms you can get massive speed boosts. i only went riding with a gps one day out of 87 so idk if i passedd 95.4 but that is what my gps said

Well. I watched the video and I was having infinite doubts on the real speed reached. Then I saw the comments and I realized that I was not the only to consider impossibile the 140Kph speed watching what I watched in the video.
I didn't read all of the posts but... did I see that the board was 166cm long?! With such board, even 100Kph would be a real dare...
To reach 140Kph you need a very stable/long board, very good snow conTry oin your car, at 140kph... it's scaring... ;)

The reason your board starts shaking at high speed is because Neversummer boards are built for speed. Carbon fiber stringers, sintered bases etc.I wouldnt try it on a lesser board.

oh and one more thing, like cool speeds and everything. but why are you standing up and not crouching. aerodynamics are key in high speed. i have a huge down jacket but if you know where to put your arms you can get massive speed boosts. i only went riding with a gps one day out of 87 so idk if i passedd 95.4 but that is what my gps said
